They told me how they just received that highlighter and since now is fall it has to be part of the fall collection. I honestly couldn't believe it.

Three of them had no idea... Then he pulled out their book with releases and collections and there was nothing about this holiday collection ??

Never surprising but always annoying. My SA guy where I just bought Caresse is really up on everything - in EVERY makeup line. He loves to be in the know & chat about all of it.

Jersey blush - A BEAUTIFUL soft pinky rosey beige nude neutral peach. It has a bit of slight metallic sheen but in a good way. Slight shimmer. On me, its this very lovely soft slight pinked natural shade.

Haha I just posted my swatch in the other Chanel Joues Contraste thread. This looks lovely on you. I think we all concur it's a tough color to describe. On me it pulls more apricot on the face. On my arm I see more peachy rosewood. No pink on me, but it's a lovely natural shade in any case

Very annoying. I work in the beauty industry and will never understand this. I am the only person in the fragrance department with 350 different fragrances and with highest volume in the company (7 00 stores) plus I also do makeup and skincare (Which is over 30 brands ) and I manage to keep up with everything plus with brands that we don't even carry like mac chanel dior etc... That's why for me this is unacceptable

anyway I did swatch jersey today and it was meh... nice but just OK. reminded me a lot of Accent. On me pulls a lot of more brownish bronzy

I went over to my local Neiman's yesterday. Got the lipsticks, the red is fantastic and long wearing. The neutral is also nice. The highlighter powder is beyond words. As is the Envol eyeshadow and the 5 color pan eyeshadow. Got the nail polish in red. Grabbed the new blush too. I looked at Jersey, and for my Casper skin tone it would be more for contouring. About 2 shades lighter then Accent was. Left a mortgage payment. The travel brush set is nice. It has a roll up sleeve for the brushes to go into the carry case. I decided to pass on the neutral lipstick, then got home and had them send it to me. If you see this collection, act fast. They are only sending out one shipment and when it is gone, it is gone, forever...Everything truly does work together. I usually avoid peach tones, but the Envol and the blush with the highlighter and the dramatic eye need it all!!!!! Love the white gold eyeliner!!!!! The new formula they came out with is outstanding. Yes, the grey smoke is limited edition. I have found Nordy's to be a pain to work with. The team at NM where I shop rock it every time!!!! I will try to post some pics of my haul later today.

Is the neutral lipstick shimmery? What of the highlighter - super frosty? Is the nail polish an orange-red?

The lipstick is very creamy and super long lasting. It is a subtle orange-red. Which I usually run away from, but it looks good. Volage is a soft peach with barely there shimmer. Again, I avoid peach, but it works well. The highlighter resembles the color of last years liquid eyeliner Plantine. A cross between gold and silver. Again, if you pile it on, it looks like headlights. A light hand and the results are very nice. This entire collection is very cohesive. Each piece enhances the look of each single piece. If you want to go with the super bold eye, the Volage works well. But the Flamboyant lipstick really works too. As well as the soft peach blush. I used the blush and dusted the highlighter over it, outstanding results!!!

The eyeliner and highlighter, as you can see from the photos are identical. The blush I did a heavy swipe, it is a soft peach. Now you can see just how much my complexion looks like Casper!!!!

So Saks in NYC had this out, they are so unpleasant there but I bought the shadow set, blush and highlighter. I wore the e/s set yesterday, perfection, and they go on so smooth, not like some of the previous sets. The highlighter is very pretty but a little goes a long way. Caresse j/c very pretty, very peach, looks nice with a bit of the highlighter over it. For me Volage r/a was too sheer and the or blanc pencil was too hard, I actually have a few of these and they all are a bit rough on my eyes. Didn't see any glosses, were there supposed to be those new click style pens? Anyway I just ran in and out, I hate the cosmetic floor there, they are very pushy, I would buy more if I didn't feel. Harassed.
