NARS Audacious Lipstick

I swatched Janet, Fanny, Jane, and Anita last week. I think Fanny is the winner in the battle between it and Janet. It's so weird how they looked incredibly similar in some light and completely different in other lighting! These lipsticks are like mood rings.

@elegant-one I saw in the MAC Mattes thread that you ordered FR. I'm trying to decide if it's worth getting when I'm planning to buy Fanny. Thoughts? I demand comparison swatches.

I feel like I haven't seen enough swatches of Catherine. Is it more of a summery color do you think? Or could it pass for Fall? It appealed to me initially because it's not as orange as Geraldine and not as bright or pink as Juliette. It's not as dark as Jane, is that right?

Correct. It's lighter than Jane, but it can still pass for fall if you follow those rules. I believe I have pics of me wearing it in the gallery. I think.

Ok let me go back and look for you. I saw aquamarine1543's hand swatches but it's totally possible I missed yours. I'm not necessarily a stickler for seasonal rules...I think I use some strange algorithm involving my mood, amount of cloud cover, relative humidity and temperature to help decide on my makeup for the day

I notice a lot of blushes people are calling "perfect for spring/summer" are ones I'm feeling for fall/winter though. So I don't know why I care what category Catherine falls in. Sunny guava just sounds so delicious.

Such things should not happen, you are Free to return a product and a Blogger ? Very mean indeed, Blogger or not a customer is free to return a product !

I was returning things I couldn't sample: eyeliner and lipstick. So I guess that makes me a terrible person. And I'm not a blogger; just someone who wanted to return something. I will never shop there again and I feel sorry that others have had to go through this too. I'm glad you've found a good store.

Even though they look somewhat similar in this pic (fairly dark here) FR is a deeper berry shade

I ordered Dominique & Kelly when they came out and was charged over double the price. The difference dropped off, but it took almost a week.
