I have Teint Dore and I got it for the same reason you mentioned. Other than this being a touch warmer, I am sure it wont turn out to be too bronzey. The color effects of meteorites are pretty much the same once worn and it is very difficult to get some color payoff from them. For the very reason these would make excellent highlighters or even finishing powder! I suppose that would be the case with these
I'm not sure about the colors. I'm just going off of the descriptions but obviously there seems to be a lot of variation from tin to tin! Here's what Sephora says for the Holiday edition:

Good to hear! I was hoping to use it as a finishing powder thus my concern about not wanting something that would be too bronzey. I know Christine's was heavy on the bronze/gold/copper type of balls but her's was pigmented enough she could use it as a blush, so I just wanted to be careful that the holiday one wasn't more bronzey than the regular ones. Sounds like unless you do a heavy application or single out some of the more pigmented balls, it should be fine as a finishing powder. Fingers crossed!

I was interested in Dore as well.
I do hope more pics and reviews come out so you can decide for certain.

artificial lighting. The brown balls in Dore are much darker IRL than they appear on camera, as are the lavender balls. The beige are as they appear. I've found that
Dore packs a powerful punch and can appear quite dark. For this reason, I now swatch it lightly for a lighter appearance. I have not yet worn Perles D Étoile. The
light balls appear really smooth and satiny. There are three additional red balls beneath the first layer. I'm eager to try them tomorrow. So far I'm very happy with my
balls.
