Got my facial today with Chanel, it was incredible!!!! Did not feel like I had to wipe all the gunk off as I did with other lines. Picked up Reve d'Orient. It is really cool. The brown is more like a bronze. Love it. Goes well with the #20 click gloss which is a LE.

It was the best I ever had!!! In the past just gobs of crap were layered on my face, and I couldn't wait to wash it off. If you have a chance to get one, please consider doing it. I just put on Reve d'Orient, and it is incredible. The black is more dark silver/charcoal. The gold is not over the top. The lightest color does resemble platinum. I used the Chanel liquid liner #14, the black with the tiny sparkle of silver in it. You can still get this from Chanel.com The brown is not brown, it is more bronze and blends out to a soft color. I run from brown eyeshadow. This quad is a keeper!!!!

Then I used the Holiday blush with the light dusting of the highlighter powder. Finish it with the #20 click gloss, and it is outstanding.

Reve d'Orient is a limited release in stores. I never saw it on the website. Neiman's got their shipment today. The liquid eyeliner #14 can still be found, if not at chanel.com, try Nordies, Neiman's, Bergdorf Goodman, etc. It is from Fashion Night Out 2013. I purchased mine in Hong Kong. It finally came to the States a few months later.

The Bay in my area has the collection in stock, they arrived today. No testers though, SA told me they aren't due to hit shelves until the beginning of November but you can buy the products. I blind bought both the highlighter and blush (I love collecting the JCs) and I am so so happy that I bought them. Caresse looks undoubtedly light in the pan and when I swatched it on my hand, it was nothing but shimmer and a hint of peach. I used my Koyudo Red Squirrel and only had to layer it on twice to get really good color on my cheeks (we got the baked version in Canada). It is such a pretty peach. I am an NC20. The highlighter pulled more gold than silver on my skin, it is indeed more shimmery and sparkly than the other highlighters released in past years. But it is so so lovely. You really need only the tiniest bit and even at that is more than enough, this sucker is pigmented! Overall, I'm glad I picked them up; I know opinions have been mixed on both :D.

My SA had them in stock, and showed them to me. She said she absolutely couldn't sell them yet though-- not sure why. The bag was actually see-through, but yet still kind of cute. I don't know much about Chanel brushes though.

NM has had these brush sets for over 2 weeks. They could sell them right away. The brushes are good. The roll sleeve for the brushes is nice. The carry case is pretty much like the ones previously made. I passed on this based on I own the entire set of Kevyn Aucoin brushes, along with some Tom Ford, Chanel and MAC brushes. I also have the Artis brushes. The #8 oval works really well on foundation and setting powder.

Good morning ladies! Just wanted to share some pics I quickly snapped this morning, I apologize that the first pic came out a little blurry. The natural light is washing out the blush slightly . The highlighter is definitely silvery in tone but also has a halo of gold if that makes sense. Which explains why some people have described the color as a platinum or rhodium. It really is quite different from any other highlighters in my collection. I also included a pic of Caresse beside Espiegle (US version), they are similar. Espiegle is more orangey-peach while Caresse is a true peach with yellow undertones. I don't see any pink tones when applied to the cheek. I hope this is helpful!

In case anyone is still on the fence about Envol or the stylo yeux Or Blanc, HTH :)

I've been googling this collection for like an hour looking for these. Don't know why I didn't come here first! I have yellow toned neutral-warm skin though, not sure how they'd look unfortunately.

My complexion is warm with golden undertones if that helps. (YSL Le Teint Touche Eclat BD50 which I've heard is around a Mac NC30, although I've never worn Mac so I'm not 100% sure of that conversion!) Only thing I notice is that Envol pulls pinker on me (as opposed to peach).

That does help a ton, thank you (again haha)! I think I'm going to give it a shot.

Glad I could help! I think it's definitely worth a try. I wasn't sure how they'd look on me either but I was pleasantly surprised. I hope you like them!

Oh, and...

So far only the two nail polishes have reached my country. Bought Expression today. I passed on Exception - at least for now.
