I could be wrong, but I don't think its just a traffic issue (it could be part of it) I think the site had other technical issues which I noticed was happening even before the sale. I think they are trying to fix technical issues as well. Even once I'm in, there are all kind of issues.

Wow I hate to see all the issues people are having! I tried to access the site around 4:00 central time, just to see if it was still down, and it was for me. That's so disappointing. I hope you ladies can find what you want before the sale ends! I went to the store today to return something. I browsed a little bit but didn't purchase anything. My Garconne shipped this morning - I really hope it gets here by Monday! I will be out of town for a few days next week and would like to secure it first lol. ETA: it looks like it will get her Tuesday. Ugh

It's really stupid that you think you're safe once it lets you on, but you can click on something and you go right back to that crappy "we're sorry" page or whateverthehell. Annoying. I went back on just to see if something could tempt me because the shoes I was going to get look like they might not work out. I'm undecided. There's about 0% chance I'm going to a store tomorrow or this weekend because the crowds will piss me off and if something I want is out of stock, I might lose it in the middle of the store. I've been using my concealer as foundation, but I think I should go back to legit foundation. I think my HD is really old, so I need something new. With all these tech problems, they should extend the sale another week.

I got that adorable Besame Violet Powder today

Its SO lovely on the skin. It gives a matte flawless slight brightening skin-evening look. The smell kind of goes away after awhile. I was really disappointed that it did not come in that beautiful red container that it shows on the site. This one has a violet top with a cream doily look. The box it comes in has such an adorable vintage label look.

THIS IS FOR MY SISTER MEDDY: When I opened the container, there is a seal over the powder holes & I was scraping & pulling at the tab like crazy with my tweezers & it would NOT pull up......duh, I didn't pull the plastic lid open first so I was scratching & pulling at clear plastic instead of the seal.

I immediately thought of your Meteorites lid!!!!! HAHAHA!!!!

The inability to get on the site and shop....has basically killed it for me as far as remaining a loyal customer. Especially since Nordstrom just came im my city and I can earn rewards and I have points with SpaceNK and I have a Bluemercury for skincare goodies. I'm not going to bother with going in-store because I don't want to deal with the disappointment of seeing what I want sold out. Too many worthy competitors out there to worry about this company.

Hi all, I'm using an Elchim dryer at the moment. It's working well, but it's not helping much with my lifelong struggle with frizz. Does anyone think I should pick up the Drybar Buttercup on the sale?

I know the dry bar is supposed to give shiny/smoother hair. I've used a T3 in the past, and it wasn't enough to tame my frizz without using lots of styling products too. I don't have the T3 with me any more.

Any thoughts? Haaaaalp!! I feel like this is a good deal, but even with the sale I'm looking at $160ish.

Finally got my haul. I was going to order online but was afraid that I wouldn't get everything I wanted. I purchased a couple of NARS multiples portofino and south beach (late to the party), my fave NARS illuminating primer. Femme Fleur lipstick( not really a red to me at all) and Corsica Lipglosses. Surprisingly, Deadly catch was almost , if not an exact dupe of Red Lizard (I have this one) so I skipped that one. I also bought the urban decay 5 eyeliners and a Stila indigo blue felt tip liner. I topped it off with Ole Hendricksen skincare. Save about 50.00 and some change in total. Still eyeing the guerlian balls though. They didn't have them in store to swatch. I was also pretty psyched over the UD Vice pallet. Colors were vibrant and silky. May go ahead and get this as well. Has anyone tried the Givenchy Prisme Libre in Caramel? Looks pretty enticing.
