MAC X Cinderella Collection (March 5, 2015)

Cate is such a classic beauty!  I love her! Ever After is one of my favorites!  When that movie first came out, I saw it in the theater over and over - this hopeless romantic just couldn't get enough! MAC has a wonderful opportunity to go a grand collection.  Sorry to say my expectations aren't very high for this one, but I love surprises and I hope MAC pulls out all the stops.   

Yeah she is, such a beautiful woman. I agree with you about the collection, they have such a great opportunity here but I don't have high hopes that they're going to knock it out if the park.

I think they are more likely to include Soot eyeshadow in a quad over Carbon. It makes sense with the name. I really like Soot.

I just picked up Soot last week (Erin's suggestion) but haven't tried it yet.

Any ideas for me?

With MAC you just never know. All the great ideas (like including soot) that we say here rarely makes it in the collection because mac doesnt like doing what makes sense. Smh. They need us on their development team

I am hoping & praying that we will finally get something in periwinkle. I hope MAC doesn't ruin this. I have high expectations which I know will not pan out. At least we have each other to lean on if this is (1) a wonderful collection w/lots of new shades or (2) typical MAC with lots of repromotes and another red lippie...unless it's Queen's Sin, then I will be

I like to add soot to the crease with something shimmery on the lid, but that is just me.

I think this movie looks great! Definitely more excited about this than I was for Maleficent, even though I love Sleeping Beauty a bit more than Cinderella. And since I'm expecting the movie to be wonderful, that makes me wish even harder for a wonderful collection...which will almost certainly lead only to crushing disappointment.

i keep looking at the trailer trying to figure out what makeup is going to be part of this collection....since the maleficent one was the makeup angelina was wearing im guessing it will be the same with this one??
