Hmm. T's swatch of Sebastian looks nothing like it looks on me. It's soooo orange on her. My local Neimans just got the testers today and I got to try a bunch of them and place a pre-sell for the 26th. I totally forgot to take swatch pictures, sorry guys!!! :sweat: Apparently my counter only has like 5-10 of each color, and they already had a couple people on their list buying all 50!! Anyway, I wanted to test some of the lighter and darker shades. Alasdhair performed poorly, was patchy and kinda sheer (hard to build up color, cause it would bunch up). Rory, Kyril were super pretty but also sheer and would get patchy when you try to build. Julian is my all-time favorite of the bunch. (Sorry for the terrible pic)

I'm glad I didn't purchase any...after looking at T's swatches. Not that they are bad but the few I wanted..I don't like them anymore lol.

i feel the same way this makes me sad because out of 50 lippies its only two must haves for me I'm going to have to pick one more too make a set I started out wanting 3 sets now I'm down to just one set

T's lips aren't very pigmented at all, though. Her lighting is definitely an issue here. :/

I agree about her lighting! I've noticed a lot of her lipstick swatches look like they have fine gold glitter in them. Definitely from some kind of warm or yellow light. I remember not realizing it was the lighting once, bought a coral lipstick after I saw her swatch, and was shocked when there was no golden shimmer at all! I've been wary ever since, ha.

Yes! I noticed a lot of glitter in some of the TF swatches. But in natural light the glitter really isn't visible on the lips - or if it is, it's subtle. I know the daylight can be unpredictable and isn't a "professional" way of photographing, but honestly I almost always prefer to look at swatches in natural light - outdoors or by a window. I feel it's most similar to what the product looks like IRL.

So I ordered three from Selfridges yesterday. This happened before T's swacthes. They were available here yesterday only so I ordered before leaving work and way before T's swatches. I made safer, adult

choises: 3 corals Patrick, Luca, and Michael.

Now seeing T's swatches, Patrick and Michael look great, and I hope I can work with Luca (the highly pearlized formula), too.

I might still want a few others but these already cost the double compared to Audacious lippies. Total madness!

Julian is beautiful on you - it looks so different than it does on Temptalia! If it would look on me like it does on you I want it.

Feels so good to have swatches lol Overall, there are lots of shades I won't wear, like Casey, Holden, Olivier and Kyril and a lot of shades I knew would be too light for me like Beau, James, and Collin and Cary. The darker pinks are all pretty. I don't have anything quite like Leonardo. The shimmer in Blake is nice. Richard is pretty (I had almost bought Negligee). Gustavo could grow on me. Adriano is wow. I love shades like Diego and Rafael. Wes and Liam look good. I hope everyone is happy with what they got or with skipping.
