The fedex lady was WONDERFUL and even called back to make sure everything was there, etc. i have one more coming tomorrow. But she said I can just pick it up after six if I miss the delivery! And she put a note for *not* leaving it at the door nor the office! I'm most excited for that box... It has peter!! I'm really curious about it after seeing a link to a blogger's (not Temptalia) swatch!

Glad to hear the FedEx lady was so helpful and now you've got a plan in place! And yes, Peter! I'm curious to hear what you think of him. I ordered him too but he won't arrive until next week. Anxiously awaiting your pics!

Well, I got a few swatches in. I was racing the sunset! Never realized how fast the sun goes down... until you try to take natural light photos! I did lip swatches, but they're in yucky yellow indoor light, and basically useless. So here is hand swatch and bullet picture!

First impression:

Oh god, Alexander is Barbie-doll pink! This is a color I do not own, because I'm never sure if I look good in it. But I swatched it anyway because I was happily surprised with Wes and Luciano. Very barbie-pink for me. I will see how I like it again when I try it with makeup that might work with it. I have a bronzey/brown smokey eye look right now and, boy, that pink looked funny with it!

Julian is LOVE! A perfect MLBB color, though leaning a little on the purple side so it's noticeable on my lips. It will look so pretty under a bunch of glosses I have.

Patrick is a pretty coral. However, you can see some lip line settling up close. Guerlain Gloss in Coral Wizz looks very nice over it! This will be a really great go-to spring coral. For some reason, I mixed together Patrick's and Alexander's swatch on my hand... and actually liked the result. Maybe I will find a way to use Alexander after all! Made a very nice mix. Alexander will probably look nice under some glosses or toned down a bit.

Sooo pretty! Julian is definitely the easiest to wear out of the 3 but I personally really like them all. Can't wait to see your lip swatches when you get some good light. The sun is in charge!

I never wear Barbie pinks either but I made a note to compare swatches of Alexander and Preston because I think I might want to try one myself. I think Preston is even brighter but more fuchsia toned. But I actually really like the look of Alexander! And Patrick seems like a cantgowrong coral. I got Matthew which I guess is the yellow-undertoned version of Patrick...but I digress. Thanks for the swatches. Enjoy your boys!

I've gotta also say I wasn't feelin the presentation from TF. At all. gucci had great presentation of product, Beautylish does, so does Net-a-Porter. I thought TF's kinda sucked. The NM box presentation looks nice.
