@katred and @thefbomb: I know that the Bay (Toronto Queen at least) has the collection in stock but they don't have it on display yet. If you ask for the things you want, I am certain they will sell them to you before the collection is on display. They usually wait for galas or other events to start selling.

Halp/advice!

Right now I have Tisse Fantasie and the Camelia blush in my Nordstrom cart. I want to get a lipstick (my first Chanel one!), but I can't decide on which one to get...

Etourdie looks like a pretty one I might wear on a more everyday basis. La Romanesque looks gorg, but I'm not sure how the velvet formula runs (drying?)...

Buckle in. We usually don't get the Spring collections until late Jan/ early Feb. hopefully they'll start bringing them in earlier, but talking about Spring in January in Canada is liable to get you a sharp punch in the nose... Ugh, exactly. "I would like lipstick more if it were more difficult to apply and less hygienic." Said no one ever.

:lol: Yeah, pretty much the only thing they're good for is saving space but that doesn't make them worth the hassle.

Im new to this, just saw it on Temptalia, the only Chanel makeup ive ever had was a gloss I was gifted ages ago. I really wanna try one of the matte lipsticks, I really liked the look f the 2 in this collection, maybe because they reminded me of some of my fav MAC mattes. Are these in stores yet? On monday I was in a store that sells Chanel makeup but they just had the holiday collection, is this only online so far?

If your in Canada, I've noticed when Im there, they get theirs a little after the US so maybe Jan it will hit the counters but Chanel.com has it up already if you wanted it now. If you wanted to see it in person, stopby or call the Bay they usually have stuff & will sell it but just don't have it on display yet or you can wait for Shoppers and get the points.

I was gonna grab a couple perm items when I was at the counter also but decided to hold off on a few till after the holidays since its perm. Isn't that Venetien is lovely.

I did a quick look with Tisse Fantaisie, applied dry. (I need better brushes to apply shadows wet with, any suggestions?) It sure is hard to take a clear photo with your eyes closed. :haha: sorry for the awkward photo. This was taken outside in direct sunlight!

Went into my local nordies to pick up La Petillante, but it pulled a little too bright and orangey on me. Definitely not Strawberry Red. Unless "la pet" wasnt the one that was supposed to be strawberry red. I am all sorts of mixed up :haha: However!! The counter actually had 2 of Reve D'orient, and after swatching it (for the first time, I've been looking all over for a counter to have it, and of course when I've given up... There it appears!) I instantly purchased it. The SA also begged to try on Jersey the blush. It's a color I wouldnt typically consider for myself, but I am loving it! It really pops on my fair skin. I may splurge and get it after the holidays... Or I may walk back and get it now. I am going to overdose on Chanel.
