I have found sometimes you need to use them a few times to sort of get the "new" off them or something, lol, and then they feel much creamier. At least that's been my experience.

And, I'm joining you. I just ordered Ian. Ian looks so pretty on everyone that I saw.

I hope I love all of them.

So I'm gonna admit I have a problem

I bought Olivier, William, and Didier from TF on BF (waited too late).
Got Ian, Flynn, and Julian from NM on Cyber Monday, ended up returning the Ian and got a backup of Julian.
Placed a pre-order in-store at my local NM for Jack, Giacomo, Stavros.
Returned later that day and placed another pre-order for Peter, Patrick, Leonardo.
A week later, I placed another pre-order for Blake, Wes, and Richard (Richard for my sister, since I already have Negligee).
Placed a late pre-order on NM.com for Collin, Xavier, Liam, though they all say backorder so not sure if they'll go through.
And plan to get Addison, Michael, Henry from Nordies...

I really want to swatch some of the more unique ones this Friday. I've been stalking my counter for the display but nothing has popped up Though I see some NMs have displays out according to Instagram. I don't know why it's so hush hush either? I'm starting to become friendly with our TF SA. This could be bad for my wallet in the future :haha: I shouldn't be buying more but I'm just sooo curious!! I also got a nice sized NM gift card for christmas so I wouldn't mind picking up one or two more.

Oh, I should have! That's alright-- if they're still in stock when I see them on Friday, I'll try them out. I won't be devastated if I miss out. I live in an area where I feel like they won't sell out too quickly. But again, I already have 7. It won't be the end of the world if I can't get my hands on more.

I got an early GC to Nordstrom, so I caved.

I bought my only 2 boys: Matthew and Cooper.

Believe it or not, I'm good with just these two. Stunning, right?

That's unfortunate. I wasn't interested either, but I have incentives for Macy's. I bought 3 with the free box, and then added a $25 off gift certificate, on top of an additional 20% since I have a family member who works for the company. I figured with all the discounts it would be worth it!

Perfect timing for your NM GC!! It was really helpful to swatch them in person, but it got me into trouble. I ended up ordering more than I would have had I stuck with ordering online. My NM didn't have them on display either. I had to specifically ask for the testers and at first the SA hesitated, but then went and pulled them out from a drawer. I didn't think I would be this into the lips and boys, but the colors are just so fun & I personally love the size! Which colors are you hoping to swatch this Friday?

But in response to your post to me, the NM I went to was the one in Beverly Hills. They had the testers stashed like gold lol
It makes sense though that they didn't feel the need to advertise. I think they also didn't have a designated spot for this particular collection, so they just sort of hid it away. When I placed my pre-order with them weeks ago, a lot of the colors were already sold out (such as Addison). Luckily I just ordered that one off Nordstrom.com and it's already shipped. I'm curious to see if the dept stores receive more since the collection is supposed to last 8 weeks?

I'm just hoping the counter doesn't sell out of the popular ones from pre-orders and such. But, I'm hoping to check out: Tomas Luca Blake Olivier Liam Alasdhair William Stavros I already have: patrick, alexander, luciano, alejandro, wes, julian, and peter. I blindly ordered those. Well. With "swatches". Right after I placed my order Temptalia put up her sneak peak. Luckily I love them all... Except Alexander. Definitely not my shade of pink. NM doesn't accept opened cosmetics, let alone swatched ones. not a huge loss though. Which did you pick up?!

Love your choices! It was definitely difficult ordering blindly on cyber monday. Overall, I think it's pretty hard to find a dud in the bunch unless a color just really doesn't work on someone. I was pretty conservative ordering on CM, so I got Julian, Flynn & Francesco from NM. Francesco ended up being a bit too bright for my taste, but it's not awful. I absolutely LOVE Julian.
I then went back to NM and pre-ordered:

Does NM have different return policies at each location? My local NM accepts opened cosmetics & they actually encourage me to "bring it back" if something doesn't work out, which I rarely do, but they seem really open about it?

These are my first Tom Ford lipsticks so I hope I'll like them. I also wanted to get the Cocoa Mirage quad but unfortunately it was out of stock.
