I just realized that the Proenza Schouler blushes were a little cheaper and contained more product... $30.00 for 0.49 oz. versus $32.00 for 0.35 oz. Proenza Schouler was a COUTURE collection, and the packaging looked a LOT nicer. That was less than a year ago. So, why is this more expensive?

I'm still going to buy Ripe Peach and Kindergarten Red because I feel like...

LOL! I know right. I was expecting them to be about $28! I'm still likely getting them ALL!

Does anyone own both Azalea Blossom, from a previous collex and Sunset Beach from Proenza Schouler? If so, do you think they're comparable?
No. Azelea blossom is more of a lavender tone. I actually gave away my azelda blossom because it wasn't pigmented (at least mine wasn't) and I found the formula lacking. Kindergarten red looks like Sunset Beach to me. So... That sucks

Sunset Beach is straight up pink to pink IMO. I guess we'll see. Hopefully this AB will be better quality. Lord knows it needs to be since these are the same price as NARS' blushes.

I'd love to get Ripe Peach but I cannot pay $39cdn for a blush in a package that I find so unattractive.  :nope: Come on, MAC, repromote this in regular packaging with your normal blush price.
Didn't realize it was that much, I like the packaging (would be better with a mirror though) but I dot know if I like it THAT much
Ugh! Didn't realise it was that much! :( I was all excited with swatches and missed the prices lol. I just had a "wtf" moment and realised how expensive blushes have become (regardless of special packaging). Yikes! :( Granted we don't get many ombres....but still :( So many sad smileys, lol.
All I can say is I FEEL YOU, at least include a damn mirror if it's nearly 40 bucks
Ugh, I love those two men!
How can you not?!

I am probably the only person who bought ripe peach when it was released first and never ever used it. not even once

Eek is right! I have the original too, and also have a backup which I am so thankful for. It is such a beautiful blush you should really give it a go!

Looks like I can safely skip RP. I had no idea it was a sheen-y blush... I'm more of a matte blush kind of girl. Unless one of the lipsticks draw me in, looks like I'll be saving some money! I am worried Christine only has a pic of one lipstick, though.

Riight? We're all used to promo pics looking slightly different from the actual product sometimes, but this looks like an entirely different shade.
It was a GREAT color in the promo! & it seemed fresh & new! Ugh! Now maybe just ripe peach for me... but im wondering how it truly compares to ocean city? T didn't list it as a dupe but that pic that was in this thread last week made them look almost identical!

I still really like Kindergarten Red blush. And that Oxblood lipglass looks super luscious! Will also grab Oxblood lippie if it doesn't turn me into a zombie.

I was looking through the comments on Temptalia and Christine said the RP packaging felt cheap. :/ She also said that, in comparison, Ocean City was more orange-red than RP. Guess they're not really dupes.
