I knew Opera couldn't be that bright. I mean MAC's descriptions can be a little off sometimes but I haven't seen them describe a bright lipstick as dark or vice versa. :haha:

Right? The fact that she compared it to Kinky and RiRi Woo made me scratch my head a little since it's supposed to be a dark red.

She said that those were all darker than Opera. Even MAC Red she said was darker. I think I'm going to wait until I see other people's swatch comparisons before I get it. I don't want another plain red.

That's what I found kinda odd about it being that Opera is supposed to be dark and so her saying bright reds were darker than this made me wonder. Especially after seeing Karen's swatch which makes it look more in the same realm as something like Salon Rouge than RRW.

I'm trying to tell myseld that RP and KR are too similar to colors I already own. I'm thinking just Oxblood lipstick.

Based on that photo, it appears to have more purple than the original one. I already have AB, but I might get this one if that's the case.
