MAC Wash And Dry Collection (May 14 / May 21, 2015)

Looks like Morange is coming off my list. Just seen a swatch of FS

I think this is a nicely curated collection, but a total

for me.

I can wear orange eye shadow, and the occasional pinky-coral blush or lipstick, but i have more than enough of them, and i look awful in orange lipstick. I don't use bronzer and i have some perfect matte contour powders. I have enough nail polishes that i don't wear. The Green Clean VP trio sounds appealing, but i probably have those colors already. I have one of the brushes, so the only thing tempting me is that big bronzer (or whatever it is) brush, and if i don't get it, i'll be fine.

Whew! Money saved.

As a lipstick hoarder I always get most excited about the lipsticks but these one's suck mostly because two are perm and I already own them. The blushes and those "bronzers"/highlighter things are what I'm most excited about.

Still loving this although disappointed in the lipticks. I might try the red bronzer. I hate orangey bronzers on me.

Most of this collection looks like a skip for me (really not into those nude-y colours). But I definitely want that hipness blush.

I still do carefully taper the very outer ends of my brows so they're not ragged and look even on both sides, and I will brush my brows to accentuate the shape, but I've yet to find a brow gel I like. They're too crispy. I'd like something soft like a satiny, silicone based wax.

That Brooke Shields bronzer was particularly nice and subtle for pale people. I was very resistant to the idea of bronzer, but there are formulas out there that are very subtle. It's not like putting powder 4 shades too dark on your face - you can find ones that are very sheer that enhance your face in a totally natural way, as if you just spent the day in the sun, but don't have a full on tan.

I got it after your recommendation, and I've been using it quite a lot (now and then, I'm not a regular bronzer user).

Thanks. I just leave my eyebrows alone. My mum has f***ed her brows up big time by shaving and plucking until her brows stopped growing back. Her ones are tattooed on now.

Mine is the same.

She has not tattooed her brows but her lower lids with blue lines - like "doesn't everybody?"

My brows are au natural, not even brow gel goes there.

I have really thick eyebrows and all I do is wax to clean up the stray ends. Apart from that, I do nothing else with them (no filling in, no gel)

My list of interests, unless I don't like the swatches once I see them. I love Crème d'Nude and Morange but I never buy perm stuff in LE packaging when I can get them normal for cheaper! Also I need the big flat-top looking brush we've been seeing pictures of.

I have high hopes for Steam Heat. I hope it looks just barely orange-red on me. I always notice on me colors pull more orange than they are.
