To get Violet Wink eye palette and Kindergarden Red blush or not Hmmm

I am getting violet wink next week when I get my cinderella palette. I have a friend who works at the mac counter at macy's and he did my makeup on the event, and he used violet wink, it was gorgeous. I couldn't get it that day, and instead I got chloraphill liner and mascara, but I am going back for it.

Imagine if you throw it in your purse my Oxblood has black smudges all over the cap from just using it while doing my makeup

Exactly, i'm almost scared to have it out of the box for too long lol My marks won't come off & it's pretty bad! Did yours rub off?

No, it won't come off I tried cleaning it with soap but I think it just made it worse

Yikes about the staining- maybe try an oil based cleanser or something like the beauty blender type cleanser might help!

I FINALLY dragged myself to a counter after saying I didnt need anything from this collection and wow seeing these in person I can understand how HARD it is for a camera to capture the SUBTLE nuances between some of the colors especially victoriana and tenor voice. I dont think I've ever seen MAC push a collection with so many similar colors. Oxblood, BBQ, and Sin all are fairly easy to distinguish. Tenor Voice was the most pinky-red , followed by Victoriana, and Opera was a smidgen darker. The formula on all of these in just swatches was nice for mattes, minus Sin. I didnt get anything, yet, but mulling it over.

yea it was really hard to choose between the reds...

but i ended up in the end with opera, Victoriana, Barbeque and the Bellsgreen eyeshadow palette

I've decided to skip the reds, they all look too alike in some of the swatches I've seen. I'm happy to just own Oxblood

I noticed that! Luckily I kept my box for it so if I put it in purse's makeup bag, it stays nice.

It cleans up pretty easy with a makeup wipe
