Well I got my LJx2 and Summer Opal, so I'm good. I shall go to sleep like Snow White until April for MAC is Beauty lol.....

Thanks! Happy birthday to you too! Hopefully things are starting to turn around for me...tried to do a birthday-related activity yesterday and it was a failure and also had to end early due to snow (went birding, didn't see anything new, couldn't go to a second location that likely would have had more birds)...then the Nordstrom debacle...and the weather is crappy and I'm not sure how much fun stuiff we'll be able to do because there's old snow and new snow everywhere and it's basically a pain in the ass to do anything lol.
So basically, this alternative method of getting that damn lipstick had better work lol.
I'm so delirious right now, not sure if any of that made sense haha.

So this a super select collection? You have to call/run around to stores to see if they will have this collection?It should launch at select MAC stores, select Macy's counters and select Nordstrom counters

I am furious and disappointed. I really wanted to snag LJ for my younger sister's 18th birthday. She'd totally ROCK that color. I only took a two hour nap during stalking, and totally missed LJ on both Nordies and Macys because the sites (and app) were giving me hell. I was able to order BK for myself... and that was IT! Summer Opal was already gone. (just got it from mac now) I tell myself... It sucks, it sucks, but I have one more chance. I go off to my morning class and didn't bother stalking because it should have been released TONIGHT! Of course, being in class taking my midterm, I couldn't be checking specktra. Now, MAC was shady as all hell and released it early. AND if I would have been able to be online, I'm sure I would have gotten LJ for her. I am mostly mad at myself, but also extremely pissed at MAC for releasing shit early. I should have known better. Yet, it was out of my control. I don't live near a MAC counter or store or anything. I rely online. My little sister will be *so* disappointed.

Looks like this was a chaotic launch, I haven't even caught up with the thread yet. I hope everyone will get what they wanted somehow.
Heads up for the Germans: there seem to be some issue with this collection, so it won't launch on the MAC site on the 5th. It is delayed and no info when it will be available. (source: MACKarrie)

I can't believe I snagged LJ at 1202 EST.... It came online when I was at work, was sure I'd missed it. The site defaulted to U.S. for me and it was surely sold out there.

Also, I don't understand why they don't hold back stock in case of problems, damaged shipments, etc? And why they don't maybe load less stock than they have onto the site so that there's less chance of it overselling (like, if they have 600 only load 500 onto the website so that if it oversells by 100, you can still fill those orders instead of canceling them). The Nordstrom rep said MAC won't let them hold back stock in case of damage, etc...I find that ridiculous. Little indie cosmetics companies have the sense and ability to hold back stock in case of problems...these big companies can't do it?

Call Mac Canada and place an order over the phone if you can. LJ is still available and I know that people have done this from the US in the past. HTHI am furious and disappointed. Am I supposed to quit my job to be able to keep up with these LE launches? Ugh. Sorry MAC. You screwed up royally. My $$$ is definitely going and staying elsewhere. Need to start looking for LJ dupes. This is so frustrating. I just want one darn lavender lippie. I can't go to the stores in-person on Thursday. My work schedule won't permit it. I guess it wasn't meant to be. Again.

I'm going to put this here. It's not a perfect dupe, but it's $5 and Colourpop pretty much never goes out of stock (and you can get a matching liner). According to T, Brills is a little darker than Dodgy Girl, and based on comparison swatches DG and LJ are pretty close to one another...
