I wanted Royal Ball, but it was sold out and removed out of my cart. I bought Free as a Butterfly out of grief. Is Free as a Butterfly worth it?
I went to my counter today, and I ended up with just the palette, I am a little paler than nc15, and I didn't like the lipsticks on me, but they are pretty. You might love it once you try it. My counter had a huge line, and they only allowed 1 item of each per person.

I waited in line at my local Macy's and managed to snag both powders, Royal ball and the e/s palette. While I was standing around I bought both l/g off MAC's website :p

Hi everyone; I'm new here. Sorry to bug you all with a question right away, but I was wondering if anyone could tell me how Mystery Princess compares to Guerlain Meteorites (the new pressed compact?) I love my Meteorites, so I did not get MP. I got Coupe D' Chic, and love it as a sparkly highlighter, but after hearing so much about MP, now I'm regretting not picking it up! And of course with the collection selling out again online (and the nearest to me MAC store very far away) I was wondering if anyone thought MP is worth the eBay prices?

I have both . Mystery is similar but slightly more shimmery and with not so refined silky texture

Nothing is ever worth those ebay prices, unless you are completely in love with a product.
Right off the bat I can tell you the Guerlain pressed compact is smoother and more buttery in texture. The finish is lighter and more of a angelic glow, very natural looking.
MP has more of a grit texture but nothing too awful, on the face you really don't notice the texture as much. It has finer milled shimmer in comparison to Coupe D' chic.

I went to my local Macy's counter and bought both powders. I should've checked my bag at the store because I realized later that they gave me two Coupe De Chic instead of one of each MP and CDC. :/ Oh well lol

Thank you for the explanation; I appreciate it. :) I think unless by some miracle it comes back to MAC online or Macy's I'll pass on it. I purchased Royal Ball on eBay yesterday, then I could have gotten it this morning! When the collection first launched I snagged Coupe, Happily Ever after and Little Black Bow, but missed on Royal Ball which was the item I wanted most. So I caved yesterday and got it from a really nice seller on eBay. I figured it was worth it to me. Then I randomly checked MAC today and there it was! Oh well. I was able to snag the eye palette and Glass Slipper too, so I'm happy with my haul. I feel sad for people who didn't get what they wanted. I hope if MAC does a Beauty and the Beast collection, they do better.
