I recently bought a MAC lipstick on eBay and it was a fake. I was so frustrated and irritated! It wasn't even a good fake! Anyway, I left appropriate feedback and did get a refund. Buyer beware!!

I try not too buy MAC on ebay cause lots of sellers are selling fakes and
I did buy a studio fix that ended up being fake and I had too file a claim
in order to get my money back so its not worth buying from there

Sorry to hear that, fakes make me sick to my stomach. I received a fake naked palette last year sometime and it made me really sad that someone would actually try to pass that off. I didn't try getting my money back because at the time I didn't even know it was an option

I ordered Blankety off ebay.. when I received it the color/packaging looked like it should but it had a strong scent of baby powder. No Mac vanilla scent whatsoever. I ditched it, I'm sure it's fake.

Absolutley hate people who sell fakes! Even though I always think 'if it's to good to be true then it's not' I still nearly get sucked in thinking 'maybe JUST this once I might be lucky' Though one of the most annoying things is if search up MAC palettes a whole list of palettes come up and they don't even look anything MAC eyeshadows! More ELF if i'm honest!

Fake MAC lipsticks from collections are often shades that were not released in that collection but the seller is claiming that they were. The bottoms may not have a shade name or batch number instead just a number such as 13. The lipstick should always have a vanilla scent and the slanted tip. You can always google swatches if you're not sure!

Guys, don't buy any MAC products from seller preciousdeals on eBay. Out of desperation I turned to eBay to repurchase my beloved Hodgepodge lipliner, but ended up getting a fake instead. I've already contacted the seller and she/he agreed to pay for me to ship it back in addition to giving me a full refund. I'm freaking pissed but I guess thats the risk you take when you don't buy directly from MAC or department store.

I wanted to get Viva Glam Nicki for the longest time but by the time I was ready to buy it MAC had stopped stocking it. But I thought I found one on Amazon but when it arrived there was something not right about it. Although the packaging looked alright the texture of actual lipstick was nothing like a MAC satin lipstick. I still have it now but looking at it frustrates me because I spent good money on it but I haven't yet thrown it away maybe to remind me of my mistake....

This is good to know. We should really keep the eBay fake list as active as possible in my opinion. I mean I know what to look for overall but the fakes are getting better You just never know anymore.
