Any ladies got any items to show yet ? So sorry you're having a rough time!!! I hope you and the little one get well quick!!!
why aren't you a candidate? I haven't thought about doing lasik. I wear my contacts and glasses equally. I just bought 3 new pair of funky glasses so I like to interchange them.I don't think I'm a candidate either (bummer). It takes me about a minute to get mine in too. I don't wear them daily though as the A/C in my office makes my eyes dry.
I'm sorry to hear that you and your son have both been dealing with pneumonia. That is difficult to overcome without a lot of bed rest which must be hard for you to get with the little one. Have you been on antibiotics? The last really serious chest infection I had wasn't pneumonia but I had to go on two different types of antibiotics because the first prescription wasn't strong enough to kick the infection. I hope the chest x-ray gives the doctor a definitive and not serious answer to what is going on. Take it easy if you can, beautycool.Any ladies got any items to show yet ?
Feel better soon! This is coming from a place of experience, and I pray that you (and others) learn from my mistakes. It's not meant to be preachy.
That said, please please please don't overuse daily disposables! They are not meant for extended use. Ideally, you're wearing them no more than 12ish hours per day. Let me explain what will happen if you ignore this for an extended basis. Your eyes are going to become oxygen-deprived, and you're going to have issues with inflamed blood vessels. If you're lucky, your eye dr will find this prior to your vision being compromised. In any case, you're going to be wearing glasses for an extended time, if not forever. Daily disposables aren't as permeable, since there is an expectation that your eye will have time to breathe without them in. Contacts that are specially marketed for overnight use are made differently so that the eye can get the necessary oxygen.
I wore daily disposables on a daily basis, throwing them each night and never sleeping in them but for up to 20 hours at a time for about 14 years. That's what happened to me. I can't ever wear contacts again. Luckily, I can rock the heck out of glasses. I know three other people who have had similar issues.
Circling back around, the hardest thing for me was to learn to do makeup all over again by feel, not sight. I'm not a LASIK candidate, and I was a -8.5 when I wore contacts. So I can't see diddly. I wore nothing but cream eyeshadow sticks for a good 8 months until I got brave enough to play with powder shadows again!
Ok, I'm listening. I will sleep in my dailies, and I know I've worn them for longer than 12 hours. SO I will heed to your warning. I might even go so far as changing them every 12 hours if I go out, or switching to glasses. OR just going back to regular contacts and not bothering with disposables.

One of my parent's close friends is a eye doctor, the MD one. Every time I see him, he gently gazes into my eyes, and will say "going to take those out right now, correct?"That's why I put them in, and leave them there. But color lenses which are scripts, are for daily use, not for extended wear. I can see up close, it is 15 feet away I can't see anything. Being near sighted does have its perks. Most people who are can delay having to wear glasses for the close up woosies until their are in their 70's, if even then. It is the far away fuzzies that suck.

I got Ripe Plum, it's beautiful but it's not something unique. I have a few dupes of both shades.
I like them for when you don't have a lot of time to do your e/s in the morning, because you can just put on one shade and it tends to look more complex than it is (if that makes sense?)I got Ripe Plum, it's beautiful but it's not something unique. I have a few dupes of both shades.
Are the EDES that good? I've read a lot of positive reviews. I never use my EDSF and recently I bought one EDES from AA from a CCO but I haven't tried it yet.
Well I don't know for sure that I'm not. But I think I read somewhere that they wait for your prescription to level out/not worsen for a bit before doing it. I'm in work most of the time and I don't need my glasses at my desk but if I'm at a seminar, going to the cinema or driving etc. I will need them. I only want lasik so I could wear my sunnies and still be able to see. My prescription specs have the transition lenses but I don't feel like they're go dark enough to protect my eyes from the sun. Then, I don't really like prescription sunglasses because then I'd have to walk around with 2 pairs of glasses all the time since when I go into work it's bright as hell and when I leave the sun has already gone down *sigh* #visionimpairedproblems lolHey, your dates can take you out to eat!

I bought a dark shade, so I can't use it like that but I'll buy a more neutral one, when they come out again. I just swatched my EDSF - why am I not wearing it?? I'm leaning more towards RJ - the TF e/s that I do own are all in the pinky/purple family (Seductive Rose, Orchid Haze, In The Pink). And while I do adore those kind of colours, I have more than a few already!
Great minds think alike! I just picked up Pink Tease today too. I was looking for a pinky nude that was lighter than Indian Rose, but Pink Dusk looked awful on my uber-pigmented lips. I never thought I'd go for a matte!
Did you just order PT or do you have it? If you have it, how does it look on? I have really darker mauvey pigmented lips too & kinda liked how PD looked in the tube, but maybe it wouldn't be so good on.
I relate to all of this. LOL two of mine have transitions and I was thisclose to buying pair of prescription sunglasses but didn't b/c of what you said. They really can be a hassle.Well I don't know for sure that I'm not. But I think I read somewhere that they wait for your prescription to level out/not worsen for a bit before doing it. I like the idea of having several pairs of funky glasses though. I love the pair I have now so when I go in later this year to change, I might keep my current ones as a second pair and just update the prescription.
