I love these colors! I read in her comments she's getting Men Love Mystery on Sunday! :yahoo:
That's the one I want to see. It sounds heavenly. Thank you for letting us know.I love these colors! I read in her comments she's getting Men Love Mystery on Sunday!
WOW!! I know I couldn't pull this off but it looks nice. I'm impressed. I do think it is about time MAC introduced some funky colors. Even though I've lost interest in this collection, I need to catch up in this thread.Swatch of Matte Royal... Credit to Instagram user
I understand that - I just wish for this particular shade, which will never be released as a matte again due to licensing BS that it had been "repromoted" in a more opaque finish. I refuse to pay $60 or $70 on IG just because I want it in matte.I'd much rather have cremesheen than any kind of matte. I'm glad they're bringing this colour out in a different finish, and I think they should do that with more colours. I often look at collections and think "What a beautiful colour - shame it's matte".
Looks awesome!!! I was expecting navy blue but this looks more purple than anything.Swatch of Matte Royal... Credit to Instagram user

RRB is UTA no back i think.Heaux going from retro matte to cremesheen? That's just mean! I wonder if Pleasurebomb and RiRi Boy will ever come back. Pleasurebomb most likely but under a different name and with a million of similar dupes but I think that RiRi Boy was the unique one along with the Viva Glam Rihanna 2 lipstick.

Betty Bright is the one lippy I regret not backing up. My only one is down to a stub so parked it to keep it from running out, therefore would be delighted if Tropic Tonic is close.Tropic Tonic looks a lot like Betty Bright which is the one shade I can never get to work on me.
See, this is what I don't understand...MAC considers retro matte and matte to be two different finishes. I mean, if you go on their webpage, they are two separate categories. Because RM has matte in it, it is considered the same?I understand that - I just wish for this particular shade, which will never be released as a matte again due to licensing BS that it had been "repromoted" in a more opaque finish. Don't feel bad. I can't pull the blue shade off either.WOW!! I know I couldn't pull this off but it looks nice. I'm impressed. I do think it is about time MAC introduced some funky colors. Even though I've lost interest in this collection, I need to catch up in this thread.
I find the Oxblood finish much pickier than Runway Hit on my lips. RH is warmer than Oxblood and a touch lighter, but it's definitely in the same family. I actually prefer RH on me, since the yellower undertones cancel out my red lips and bring out the green in my eyes, but I would agree that if you're in the NC or NW30-35 range, Oxblood is the way to go, color-wise. There will be those other nudes in this collection, though, and I bet one will satisfy the Oxblood people!I haven't used SK either, but I need to. I keep coming across it while looking through my other lipsticks,
MAC for sure knows Heaux is a super popular and desired color. I won't be surprised at all if one of the liquid mattes or one of the Velvetease pencils has the same exact color, just with a different name, for the matte lovers. We can make it work. I wish it was one of the new liquid matte lipstick colors.
In any case, my more pigmented Cremesheens blot down very nicely to a good matte stain without any hassle, so it won't be tough to get a matte effect, I bet.

P&P Lip did not help much, so I had to pull out a Mineralize Lip Balm.

Liba, I hope you are correct. I would love to see a Heaux lip liner or Velvetease pencil. My fingers are crossed. You folks not wearing your Studded Kiss, look at how gorgeous it is! And it's awesome on lots of different skin tones too. It's more of a punk rock, avant guard red, not a retro red, so I could see how it might be a little off-putting at first. I'm glad it's going perm, although damn, after this past year, I think I have enough reds to never get to the bottom of any of them, lol.
