Just received my Naked Bronze, Golden Peach, Pink Sand cream blush and Gold Dust bronzer from Nordies and love it all. The best thing for me is that the cream blush does not bother my skin. :cheer: I don't think anyone mentioned that the velvet pouches are white. Guess I should have assumed that but I never even thought about them, and I just LOVE  them for some reason!!! LOL Still waiting for my Rose Soleil which is coming from Neimans via FedEx. Hopefully they don't deliver it to my neighbor which my FedEx guy loves to do for some reason. I want it NOW! Edit: He must have heard me because he just delivered my RS. Love it!!!

:yahoo: [COLOR=0000FF]My goodies just arrived from Neiman's.  It's pretty comical that I received 5 boxes.  One box had my eye & cheek palette, large bronzer, cream blush and Golden[/COLOR] [COLOR=0000FF]    Peach e/s duo.  [/COLOR][COLOR=0000FF]One box had my Paradiso lipstick, which was a total surprise and two boxes each had one sample----Incredible waste that was.  Now on to the[/COLOR] [COLOR=0000FF]    goods----I haven't yet swatched anything [/COLOR][COLOR=0000FF]because I hate to disturb perfection----this too shall pass.  For now, suffice it to say, this collection is nothing short of[/COLOR] [COLOR=0000FF]    stunning.  The packaging is chic & elegant, and I agree, the E/S duos [/COLOR][COLOR=0000FF]do not appear cheap and as others have said here, they are very well done!!!!  I managed to[/COLOR] [COLOR=0000FF]    calm down a bit to take a few quite lousy pics w/my iPad----Meddy has no [/COLOR][COLOR=0000FF]camera skills whatsoever.[/COLOR]     [COLOR=0000FF]I've had the TF Bronzer Brush for quite some time now, and often joked about how large it is.  Large it may be but it's also luxury at its finest.  I'm looking forward to using it with this, my first ever TF bronzer, in Terra.  I've always been a Guerlain girl when it comes to bronzers.[/COLOR] [COLOR=0000FF]I'll be finished w/the Soleil collection when my Shimmering Body Oil, Black Oyster, Naked bronze and small bronzing powder in Gold Dust arrive next week but I expect to enjoy these amazing products for a long time to come.[/COLOR] [COLOR=0000FF]   [/COLOR] [COLOR=0000FF]  [/COLOR]

These are beautiful swatches. I may have took into this palette.

At first I wasn't sure about the palette, but I wore it yesterday and it's fabulous! The star of the collection for me.

Fedex has been the worst for me! The delivery guy usually skips the route and mention Business Closed without even making an attempt! I would waste the whole day waiting on the delivery and at the end of the day it just magically updates into some reason. There wouldnt even be a door tag of course since he never came this way! Or I have gotten calls in my number asking me to come downstairs to the van to collect the package! Yup! And the CS is really something! I have tried calling them explaining the same and after the whole rant one CS guys response was "okay" and thats it!

My hubby just gave me a pep talk! He's thee best! I called customer service and they are sending me a new one, plus they threw in a TF lipstick! :yahoo:

I find that sending an email to the head person also yields good results. Yarah, good you are getting a freebie!

I got my Terra Bronzer today. It is THE MOST perfect shade on me Both bronzers are the best I think I have ever seen. Tom Ford certainly knows the subtleties and perfection of color like none other. I also received my BU of the cream blush today :shock: I'm not sure that I have ever received anything that fast from NM. ompom:  

I stopped myself from getting the gold bronzer, no backups for me, though if I could it would be the palette. Have you used the bronzer yet?

Just put a sheer nightie on...maybe that will fix the FEDEX problem

One of my NM boxes came with great thick padded paper for protection - too bad the bronzer WASN'T EVEN IN IT! It was laying by itself with no padding/wrapping & the box lid was open. Thank goodness nothing was broken hboy:

Mini rant ahead: So I was all set to go into to Neiman's tomorrow to see the collection and make a purchase. HOWEVER!, this afternoon I check my phone and I have two voicemails, from two separate people from the counter, SEVEN MINUTES APART, asking me to finalize my purchase over the phone today because the collection is selling out.  Needless to say, this is one of my biggest pet peeves - I felt like I was being badgered, especially when my SA told me to come in tomorrow. Anyway, I need to see the collection in person before I shell out any money, so I had to modify my plans and head over today. I left empty-handed, but not before I let the SAs there know I would not be making a purchase after all and how it was poorly handled. I then texted my SA who was very sorry about the situation - she left work early as she wasn't feeling well - and she wants to fix it. That made me feel better. Looks like I won't be getting anything from this collection after all, but I'll live vicariously through all of you and your hauls and pics!

That's really inconsiderate of them. Did you not like anything from the collection? I hope your SA takes care of you. I had preordered a lot and it was sent to me without any samples, so I went into Bergdorfs and they took care of that. At Chanel I was given so many freebies, no problem.

I don't even wanna use it for that reason Do you think it happened in the mail Or before it went to mail It's only bevase it is in that pouch and box Gosh mine was on the dash board in the car and it fell on the floor I was like noooooooo That was yesterday when driving me mums I thought I keep it out the bags as it's bound to get ruined lol and fall out a bag Then it fell on floor today on my mums wooden flooring it was on my mums unit ( kept it there thinking it be safe ) It's my pride n joy Anyhows my toddler crawling about on the floor playing with his ball toys and stuff Making the floor vibrate the vibration of him going up n down Made everything fall off the unit With my mums newspapers omg my heart fell But it was ok Nothing dented or smashed My heart had sunk though Hun It's survived being in the box and dust cover I feel for you Hun u poor thing ️️️️️️

Have to ask is that chanel lip stuff any good for dry flakiness on the lips ? Or is it just to give lippy a nice base ? I notice I have more lines showing I think too Also does anyone have pores around there lips Like dots which some colours show them up if go over lip line or on lip line Anyone ? I think they pores maybe black heads I dunna think it happens with light colours And negligee a little I don't know how to get rid x

It's really very good. I previously used MAC Prep & Prime Lip but gave the Chanel Hydra Beauty Nourishing Lip Care and loved. It also lasts longer than the MAC P & P.

The palette is gorgeous, I'm glad I ended up getting it. Black Oyster is lovely too, the glitter shade goes on so smoothly.

Hi BC----thank you. I'm still on a Tom Ford high, but I haven't been able to bring myself to swatch a thing. I will be comparing Terra to my Guerlain bronzers because for now Guerlain are HG for me, as far as bronzers go. I was going to test drive my goodies this weekend but I've now decided to wait until I have everything from the collection in hand. My Shimmering Body Oil arrives Tuesday and my Naked Bronze, Black Oyster and small Gold Dust bronzer are scheduled to arrive Wednesday.

The TF bronzer brush is insane---it's just huge and was in fact too big for me to use for bronzing----it's larger than the areas that I typically bronze, which I find amusing. So, for a year and half I've used the brush with my beauty powders. I'm eager to go back to the drawing board with it now that I have this ginormous bronzer compact. The brush is soft like no other and is like new again after I wash it.

I hope you get the balance of your order soon and that you're loving what you have so far!!

If you don't find the Nars base go for the Wet n Wild Fergie For My Primas eyeshadow primer. Well even if you do find it, try Wet n Wild. It's amazing! I was at my Gucci makeover this week and the SA wanted to know what eyeshadow I was wearing because she was having a hard time getting it off. I remembered I was wearing one of Mac mineralized shadows. So I told her it must be the primer. I was all set to get the Nars when I heard about this one. Amazing for the price!



I find that this happens a lot with Guerlain. They just don't know.

I find that happens w/quite a few of the brands---we seem to have access to more product 'intel' here on Specktra than the SAs.

After everyone was raving about Gold Dust I ordered a small one too, since I have the large Terra, and gave in to BO and NB. I need to just stop looking and reading or I will have the entire collection too. It's so hard to resist these things with all of the gorgeous photos & swatches.

Just picked up my goodies and I'm thrilled.

First, let me give TF an AMEN for the white dust covers. I was one of those who tried so hard to keep last year's palette in perfect shape that I stored it in the dustcover, only to discover that the darned brown dust cover transferred to the palette!

I only bought 2 items out of the collection. The mini Gold Dust bronzer (I loved it when the SA used it on me a couple of weeks ago) and the palette. My first thought was "whoa, this is tiny." Upon further review, it's actually a good value compared to the bronzer I'm currently using (Guerlain 4 Seasons 00 Nude). Guerlain 4 Seasons- 10g/.35oz, $76 ($7.60/g). TF Mini Gold Dust- 8.7g/.31oz, $65 ($7.47/g). I'm looking forward to playing with it.

I have to admit that I was starting to question my purchase of the Pink Glow palette. Now that I've seen it in person, I'm so happy that I did. I'll have to play with it tomorrow. I'm pondering how to best use the blush (it's way too dark for me), but I'll figure it out.
