Does anyone know if they are going to be discontinuing the OCC line from sephora? i noticed alot of things online say only a few left and they are not restocking anything?
The display looked bleak at the 34th St one in NYC for a lonnnng time, empty. But since the sale it's been full and poppin'! Tons of stock and all the slots filled.

Hey everyone! I just wanted to come in and say, I am one of those people pissed off that I missed on the extraordinary rewards the other day. I thought about it long and hard, and I decided to email Sephora customer service, because it was messed up. I have over 10k points, and was waiting to be notified by email when those would be launching and to my surprise the email never came. So I sent a polite email, but I knew they weren't going to be able to credit points to be (they have been crediting 500 points to people as apologies), since I have over 10k (apparently they can't do it manually, I'm screwed when I'm missing points from like a JCP purchase and things like that), so they gave me $10 dollars in store credit. I am telling you all this, because I encourage you to speak up and write to them. They need to hear from us so that they can improve, and also you deserve your apology points / money. I know they are "free points" but they created the Beauty Insider program as a loyalty program, making people come back because they know they will be rewarded with points. This incident really made me feel ... not rewarded.. so... speak up if you haven't! :)
I emailed and all I got was an apology. I wish they had some consistency

I get that, but do you ever read the comments section? All kinds of morons jump on you for anything. Your brows aren't even, you aren't enunciating, there's clutter in the background, don't pull your lid while applying eyeliner, you said you don't like lip liner darker than your lipstick color but that's the way they like to do theirs. I mean it's insane. I understand trying to block the criticism and nitpicking. I just put the videos on mute and fast forward.
Lol this is so true I have a YouTube and I always get comments telling me to clean my house if there's like a pile of folded blankets in the background or something it's like wtf I don't need you criticizing my apartment. People are buttholes.

Oh yes, yes!!!!  OMG---I thought I was the only one who felt that way---thought I was being an old grouch.  I can't   stand the mindless chit-chat---apologizing for the way their hair looks and other mundane things that I don't give a   crap about.  Please just get to the point!!!   :frenz:

They need to ignore the bullshyt and just do what they want. Or if they really feel it's necessary then they can make a "Don't dis-like me, just BE like me" video.
What annoys me are the loooonnngg intros. It's nice that you made an intro clip to use for all of your videos but did it really have to be 65 seconds long? Even sitcoms don't have intros that long these days. It's even crazier when the full video is less than 4 minutes.
Omg yes this! I don't even watch videos anymore for this reason exactly. If you can't handle criticism, stay out of the spotlight. I've never heard Oprah apologize for a stray hair or an opinion.
I would love to make a parody video of a YT tutorial. First you have to start with some completely unrelated story-time about the sale at H&M and proceed to show us your entire clothing haul. My favorite part are the swatches and people not understanding the point at which their camera starts to focus. Holding your hand up to the back of the product. "Can y'all see that? It's a lovely peach shade. I don't know if y'all can see that."  :haha:
Omg, I'm totally making a video now. All the clichés, ALL the clichés!!

I think that's a little easier said than done. Some comments get under my skin and it's not even about me and I'm not easily rattled. If I made videos I'd probably disable comments but it kinda sucks if you want to actually interact with people but you have internet gangsters who hate themselves spewing their garbage. I don't know, social media is a strange thing. It's for people who are simultaneously vain and insecure. I just e-mailed Sephora about the perks debacle. It'll be cool if I can get some points out of it, but we'll see.

That would be hilarious!! I don't remember who it was but one time someone was trying to hawk tissues, seriously?? Its so so bad with the product placement as is :sigh:

So nice going into the store and seeing everything we've been buying on their website for the last month finally in there. LOL. First time going in there for the week. Saw the UD blushes, most of the more "tame" shades are lackluster on my skin except for Rapture. They seriously looked like crap hand-swatched. Saw the glosses and added Big Bang and Vice to my loves, they're nice. Checked out the Sephora blushes and Hot Flush is in my loves, what a unique color! Then I'm liking their Sun Disk Limited Edition bronzer, may be just because of the way it looks :haha: I see the ABH Artist palette is there finally.

Can anyone suggest a hydrating moisturizer for very dry skin? I used to use Clinique Even Better Skin Tone Moisturizer and it was good, but I decided to try something new in January and got MAC's Studio Moisture Fix SPF 15 which wasn't hydrating enough and I started getting dry patches so I added Lightful C Moisture Creme which helped for the most part, except for a little bit of dry skin around my eyebrows. I was about to go back to Clinique's Moisturizer, but then I started to wonder if Lightful C got rid of my blue/purple eye circles. I never had them until I started getting horrible migraines early last year. So I'm a little nervous to use something else if Lightful C is responsible for getting rid or them in less than two months of use. Thoughts?

I have dry skin and a Sephora manager recommended Clinique Moisture Surge. I have yet to order the trial size...0.5oz for $9.50.

Awww, that's messed up. I emailed a couple days ago and got 500 points. I'm still annoyed at how they handled it and the response I got was weird. They were like, rewards were super limited but I just gave you 500 points. Umm, thanks...I think.

There was one video where the lady was riding around and talking to random people that she knew who were on the side of the street. She would be talking to the camera and then all of a sudden she was talking to Jimmy who she went to high school with. Not to mention when she would flip out if someone cut her off in traffic. That video was a hot mess but I couldn't stop laughing.
