Wow! I'm going to pop mine out over my bed in case they fall... I wish people posted this in the reviews!! I want to use the mini to travel with... I am hoping it doesn't shatter during my many trips!
I would go so far as to scythes powders are super soft and vaguely recall a couple of people received theirs broken. I love the formula though!!!

Any info on Tarte Poppy Picnic palette? I like the blush in glisten so I'm wondering if I should get the palette or just the blush by itself. Are the shadows with the blush worth $10 more? I swatched in store today and thought the shades were similar but I hear these products wear better than they swatch. Anyone have experience with this palette? Thanks.

:cheer:  So, so nice to see you!  Great haul!!  I'd like know what you think of the Josie Marin Enlightenment Highlighter.  I recently purchased it too but haven't yet worn it.
I absolutely love it. It's really natural looking and gives that "lit from within" look.

I'm not gonna lie, I kind of enjoy "Showtime" but I always give a side eye like "Don't even". I wrote a haiku about it once while on my way to work: "Someone said 'Showtime!', You better not hit me son. Here's a dollar, bye." Once a Facebook friend commented that they kicked her cookie - LOL!
Yo, I am CRYING over here!
Lol, I'm glad you like it. It's #2 in a 5 part series that I wrote on my way to work one day. It was a long commute...
Yeah, I'm going to need you to PM me the rest of this. Thanks.
I will. They aren't all funny but they are all about the MTA. You'll appreciate it.  Did you have the take the 7? My first summer here I was living in Bayside and commuting to NYU. Le sigh... Last summer my commute back home was late nights from Alphabet City to Morningside. Double sigh. My poor friend does BX to The Village almost everyday. Triple sigh.  Since this is a makeup thread after all I will add that I think my Stila All-Day Lipstick in Bella is going back. I decided that I most definitely look like a clown.
That's my train! Bayside babe, born and raised. I love the 7. You can ride from Main Street to Times Square and not hear a lick of English. Now I'm homesick. :(

Hi ladies!!
I haven't been around much, hoping everyone is doing awesome!

I have a question, has any of you tried Dermablend foundation? I see that sephora started carrying it recently.
If you have, do you have dry skin? how does it sit on top of your skin?

:)
Thanks! I can't find any reviews mentioning skin type, I just don't want it to be too drying.

Yes, and I hated it. It was such a waste of money. It did nothing for me and looked very cakey. I also bought the loose setting powder and a powder brush. The powder was also a waste. The brush was horrendous it was so scratchy it felt like sand paper on my face and even the back of my hand. Money well wasted. After my experience with their products I really have a more image of the brand.

oh no that's so so sad :/
I got the powder as a free code and I like it, it set my undereye concealer well. So I really wanted to give it a try.. maybe I'll go in store then and ask for a sample when I come back from vaca :/
lol

Thanks for letting me know D:

I see they have it at Macy's too. I only knew about them because my cousin (and other women) used their cover-up to hide the stretch marks on her stomachs whenever we'd play mas (Trinidad Carnival). It was the only thing that worked. Hardcore.

It may work better for you. I have very dry skin so that may be why it was an issue. You should definitely get a sample if you can, it may work better for you. Before I bought it I read some rave reviews. Also, I bought it when I was in High School so that must have been like 2008ish or so, so maybe they have reformulated.
