I agree, and I generally find black/darker colours easier on my eyes than white/lighter colours. Other than that, the new MAC site looks fantastic.

Lol I wouldn't mind if they redid their smooshes, which I like better against a white background. I'll be nervous about the first big stalks on the new site though (Le Disko, GV)

LOL...so true! Yesterday, I was in a beauty supply store and saw their display. I only own one of their lipsticks but if MAC actually comes out with acrylic packaging then I'd rather buy Nicka K for .99 cents :)

Yeah same! I liked that current site as it is frill free and simple! As for the bigger swatch pics, we know how reliable those are!

Well as long as it stays crash free and doesnt take long to load up on launch days its fine i guess!!

That's the only thing that I'm a bit worried about. :unsure: I also find the homepage a bit chaotic and jumbled.

Not a fan of that homepage - too cluttered, and the whole thing looks like it will be too much scrolling. Less of an issue on tablet PCs where you can have the page portrait oriented, and get more on the page at once, but for those of us who use PCs our monitors are usually landscape. I am also worried about the seeming lack of 'site map' and wish the 'smooshes' could be actual photos of the products rather than computer-generated colour. I prefer the current, no-frills approach.

I like that the new page is brighter but I agree that it does seem a bit cluttered. I am hoping that it won't be too hard to navigate.
I am excited for the re-release of the MAC Patentpolishes. In all of the collections that are slated to come out in June and July, I am not too excited about anything. Nothing that I feel the need to run to the store for or stalk the website all day for.

I hope we get some more cool pop culture type of collections this fall (like The Simpsons & RHPS from last fall, or WW and Archies Girls)

I don't like the new re-design. Too busy.

But i am so glad the background isn't black anymore. If your monitor is too bright, you can turn it down. I do if i'm in a dark room.

Not a fan of the new homepage, the very first thing that popped into my mind was "where the hell is the site map?"

I'm glad they're finally updating the site. However I loathe the homepage. Love the big pictures, key words, works well, etc. though.
