I'll buy it if I like the product but in my opinion they should have gone with someone else. So many other people who have transitioned are better candidates. In my eyes Caitlyn is still Bruce and for a while probably will be and to be honest I use to think Bruce was the least money and fame hungry of the family but now he's just like them. I have nothing against Bruce or him transitioning I'm glad he will finally be able to live the life he's wanted but why do you have to capitalize off of it I don't wanna see Caitlyn on runways magazine covers or makeup campaigns at least not now I wanna see Caitlyn walking out of the grocery store or target. Just my thoughts my vote would have been for Laverne cox and Caitlyn maybe in a couple of years. I get where Mac is going with this but i don't understand why Caitlyn would do this now not.
The blush shade in HK is beautiful! I wish they'd make it into a stand alone blush.
I think Caitlyn should be put on hold for a couple of years too, I feel like Caitlyn hasn't developed their own style yet. Like with other celebs once it's released that a celebrity will be the face of Mac/Viva Glam the first thing I say is "ohhh, they do have nice makeup"... I think Caitlyn needs to get her own style before being the face of anything. I'm sure Caitlyn has been approached by lots of companies so Mac may of needed to move fast on this. I am interested in the the lipstick though, I will always buy Viva Glam products if I like them, regardless of the spokesperson because it is such a good cause but there are better candidates at this moment.

Kris Jenner is alot of things but a less attractive woman than Caitlyn is just not so. Kris is a beautiful woman imho. Caitlyn has a whole lot of air brushing done. They are just riding on the coat tails of all this hype. VG is something I'm sure is usually planned months and months in advance. For them to just randomly makes the decision now just seems like publicitymongering.
To be fair though, MAC is a business. Using someone that everyone is currently talking about is a smart business move.
Everyone? Or everyone in the States? VG is global - not everyone keeps up with the Kardashians errr Jenners lol. I'm not saying it was an unwise business move though. I was just saying they are taking advantage of the publicity and hype. I wonder who they had lined up for VG 2016 before this all blew up.

I'd honestly be surprised if the next VG spokesperson WASN'T Caitlyn or Laverne. Should be Laverne, though, IMHO. I just think that the association with the Kardashian clan means Caitlyn is taken less seriously in some circles.
I don't think Conchita is as well known in North America, but I'd love to see her do a collaboration!!
