I do! They are similar, but Film Noir has more red tones to it than AV does, plus the finish makes a bit of a difference as well. If I had to choose between the two, I'd choose Antique Velvet.

Thanks. I've been looking at Film Noir, but Antique Velvet's color sounds better for me.
Film Noir is definitely warmer and than Antique Velvet with more red tones and shinier since it's a satin finish.

I've been sitting on most of the lipsticks I picked up for over a week. Finally got around to swatching Men Love Mystery and like others have mentioned, it's really close to RiRi Boy with RRB being slightly drier/more matte.
RRB left, MLM right Will eventually do a lip swatch of all of the ones I got so far. Just been wearing Taupe a lot lately because I've been lazy and I've needed something quick and easy lol.

AV is a true brown, like hair that's been colored a true rich chocolate brown... FN is that same brown hair with chestnut highlights and a clear color rinse for shine haha! It really just depends on ur preference for finish and undertone

I wonder how close either of the shades are to Fixed on Drama? I am not crazy about browns but I do like FOD.

No resemblance but I'm sure with Vino liner, AV can be made into FOD! Matter of fact I'm gonna try it, I believe someone here already has if I'm not mistaken

I wore Tropic Tonic today and I was pleasantly suprised that it is more WOC-friendly than I antiscipated! I expected to reach for my clear gloss but it wasn't necessary. I will say to exfoliate and moisturize ur pucker before applying because she is one of the more true matte formulation colors of this collection and does tend to sink into lines if lips aren't properly prepped
