Dior Cheek Stick in Cosmopolite Pink - a very beautiful soft natural flush pink on the cheeks. Don't be afraid of how the shade looks in the tube. Sheered out, is very natural & pretty. Sheered out swatch on left side, medium swatch in the middle with a heavier swatch next to it.
That's a very pretty pink! I'm Glad it has good staying power, usually cream blushes disappear on my very quickly. The Chanel les beiges from this summer disappeared very quickly on me. I'm wondering if I'm not applying them correctly.

I bought two of the fluid eyeshadows yesterday, Cosmic and Aurora. I really wanted Destinee but my local counter doesn't have that one yet. I'm loving them so far.

Cosmic is on the sheer side and needs two layers to really pop. Aurora is more pigmented and more metallic. They don't budge at all, I wore both today and 16 hours on they look as good as new. I didn't use a base. The colours aren't quite as complex as most of GA's eye tints, but I think they're a bit more vibrant? GA's also have a thicker consistency, these are much more of a liquid. I like that as it gives me more time to blend, but they aren't a swipe and go shadow. These are the first products from Dior to catch my eye in quite a while. I'm definitely getting a couple more. I hope they expand the colour range!

I just retuned them, for many reasons. First and foremost I do not have time to walk around with with eye pretty much closed for over a minute while it dries. I have hooded eyes and this is a truly needed step, sadly. It is like nail polish, where you put it, it stays, unless you use a Q-tip to remove where you messed up. Blend the colors? For me, again, no way, no how. I look like my brother did my eyes when I was around 3 years old. As in "don't peek, you will be so pretty, trust me". When your older brother tells you to trust him, you know you are in for a good laugh. He was around 9 or 10 when he would do this to me.

For those who found the Chanel 2015 eye sticks difficult, run Forest, run away from these. These make the eye sticks look easy to work with. Great colors, not realistic at to me. Heck, some of you will probably love them, and super for you!!!!!

It amazes me there's a month or so until the Addict Lipsticks are getting relaunched and still no information on it whatsoever. There's probably not going to be much of a change, just names and front page model, but even so.

I just got & tried the new Dior Illuminating Powder
love.gif
Its a very grown up elegant face powder. It does not provide coverage like the striped Le Beiges powder (which i don't think it's supposed to) but it gives the skin an even appearance & a bit more beautiful glow to the skin! Its amazing under the eyes or in the corners for a subtle highlight. I love that it is not over the top in sheen or shine. Just a beautiful glow. I LOVE it. It came in a wonderful pebbled white & black Dior box. I have never ordered from them before so maybe that is standard. Very classy.

Yess I love it too!!! Not very in your face highlight but subtle yet finely milled with no chunky glitter!!! We have a fall thread too elegant (the existence of which was unknown to me until meddy pointed out to me 2days back  ) http://www.specktra.net/t/191512/dior-fall-2015-cosmopolite

We are not box hoarders. We are being pro-active for holiday present giving. As in, how many times do we all find ourselves digging for a box for something we purchased for a gift during the holiday season, when the present came without a box or worse yet, one of those flimsy boxes??? I also have made a display of the boxes stacked various ways in my bedroom. Thank goodness I am not married, not sure it would fly with a hubby this method of decorating!!!!!

The blush sticks are like the Dior Nude foundation and/or the YSL "how do they do that" blur finishing gel in pink. Moist to powder in a nap second. One of my co-workers bought them, swiped them on, blended them like crazy. Yet, it still looked she was ready for a football game with the "war paint" stripping on her checks. Dot, then blend out. Build slowly, but again, too much work for me. I am just a lazy slug......love the Chanel sticks and of course the cream blushes in the compact and TF cream blush. The engineers on this collection to me really blew it.....

Being a Catholic, I would have to go confession if I was storing makeup in these boxes, and they were not matching the name on the box. That is just so wrong......

I love decorating with them in my designated beauty room---when they'r replaced purposefully they don't look like a hoarding situation---at least that's what I tell myself.
