I'm bad. I ended up getting the three lipsticks. But at least I know that I can wear them to work!
oh, that's not so nice. I hope it'll be different here because the sales assistants won't be well informed. But I'll want Whirl so much anyway, so I might simply purchase it.I tried to B2M for some of the new permanent matte lippies and 2 stores told me I have to wait 6 months.
Woah, not okay. When did you try to B2M? Did you speak with a manager? That sounds like total BS. You're able to B2M for them on the website... I recycled for them on the initial launch date. For crying out loud, they're not THAT popular. I mean they're cool, but they're not the LE Retro Matte launch. IF it's worth it to you (I tend to unintentionally beat dead horses :sweatI tried to B2M for some of the new permanent matte lippies and 2 stores told me I have to wait 6 months.
Yup. That's it. I love Aria.Aria ?
That's a very good choice.I just purchased 3 Heaux coz I love the Colour so much!
:con:Thank god I decided to take a break from writing an essay to catch up on this thread... I got my heaux!
Thanks for doing this. Did you get Quelle Surprise? I probably don't need QS. What do you think?Yes Aria [@]Vandekamp[/@]. Which means WNW Sugarplum Fairy, then Fergie's Ferguson Crest Cabernet...![]()

Okay. Good point. I will skip it.It's nice but I'll hold off. It's starting to get ridic that I'm buying the same colors over and over! I wanted Heaux just to compare to the o.g![]()
A Retro Matte Quelle Surprise/Acai type shade would be :eyelove:Yes Aria [@]Vandekamp[/@]. Which means WNW Sugarplum Fairy, then Fergie's Ferguson Crest Cabernet...![]()

I totally agree. Why can't all of these shades be in the matte finish??? Why? Why? I am not a big fan of cremesheen but I did pick up two Heauxs.A Retro Matte Quelle Surprise/Acai type shade would be :eyelove:
Agreed, those shades in a Matte finish would be awesome! Satins would be great as well. Although I love Patent Polishes, I feel like glossy finishes are...not "out of fashion", but a little like 2011, lol. Drier finishes are more effortless in everyday life, I think. Ok one cannot just slap them on without a mirror like balmy textures, but at least they survive a cuppa coffee or snacks without having to care about smudging/reapply.I totally agree. seconded. I find that I need a break from matte lips once or twice a week though, because my lips become too dry- particularly with liquid lipsticksAgreed, those shades in a Matte finish would be awesome! I just got it too. MAC is always like ''Hey, we forgot about this but here you go." With their late ass email blasts. lmaoHaha I JUST now got the VAT email, but it's only in reference to the online exclusives
I tried to B2M at least 3-4 weeks after the collection came out. The manager at one store told me that they weren't allowed to B2M for the new collection for a while (at least 6 months) and that no other stores should be doing so because it's not fair to customers who want them and can't them (bull). Then I went to another store and a SA told me that I would have to wait 6 months. Thanks for your suggestion but at this point, I'm so over MAC. I only buy what really catches my eye and if they don't have it when I try to order, I spend my money elsewhere. No more stalking or calling around looking for products, I'm done! I used to be a MAC fan and buy exclusively from them but after all of the shenanigans they've pulled over the last year, I've started to spend my money elsewhere. There's never any uniformity where their policies or their collections/releases are concerned and they are not sensitive to their consumers so I'd rather spend my money with other companies who I never have to worry about changing the rules or policies every week or running out of product 3 minutes after a it's released or trying to order products online for an hour with no luck because their website stinks. Free or not, they can keep it. There's always new lipsticks coming out that are similar and I'll just get it then.IF it's worth it to you (I tend to unintentionally beat dead horses) I'd either call or go back and ask to speak with a manager. To be blatantly honest and to assume the worst (which I usually don't do!) I'm guessing the artists that said this to you are trying to save the new lipsticks for customers that'll pay for them right away. I remember wanting to pull my hair out at the beginning of the Kylie Jenner lip situation because of all of the potential sales that walked out the door because we were out of Whirl and Soar. Obviously this situation is different (and I left the company so I'm totally speculating) since you can B2M for these... But to me, saying you can't B2M for this new perm launch is like saying you can't B2M for Twig or Brave until the Kylie fad dies down. They could be telling the truth, but it sounds really weird to me. Maybe it's a regional thing, the Midwest doesn't have the demand that you guys would.![]()
