interesting about the beauty blender! I used that one with the NARS all day luminous blahblahblah foundation (that name is wayyyy too long, lmao!) and it worked fine and I thought they would be the same concept. Oh man, I am honestly excited! I need a full coverage non-cakey foundation. The cover FX one is nice but it transfers toooooo much and doesn't stay as well.They better have all the new goodies out for us at this event! We spend too much money for them to short change us as often as they do! <---ok, wow...that was a mini rant! Excuse me for that, lmao! But anyhoo, I've been using my Tarte airbrush foundation brush until my new MJ one arrivesthe tarte one looks very similar, but the true test will be once the other one arrives! I tried it with the Beauty blender, but it soaks up too much product
I HEAR you on that mini rant though! I tried to stay away from sephora for the last week so that all the "new" stuff is out for the event. I have to keep my wallet in check though because I have to buy my moisturizer from ulta and that is $41.
I could have sworn it was cheaper! But it lasted me since April and honestly it's the best I've tried yet for my oily/acne prone skin so I don't mind.YarahFlower

The BB is not terrible, but for a 55 dollar foundation, I want to savor as much of it as I possibly can! I like using the BB with this foundation if I have found that I used too much. I just dampen it and pat it on my face until I am satisfied with the coverage! Btw, I dont even need concealer when I'm wearing the MJ foundation! That's sooo amazing to now have to use concealer! I need concealer for my cheeks and chin as I get pretty red (especially during the time of the month and in the summer) and I have horrrrrendous dark circle under my eyes (#GradSchoolLife) I don't have to use concealer when I use the FX drops. They're good, but I wasn't dying to purchase another bottle. It's soooo messy honestly. They need better packaging on that shizzz!
I use Dermalogica Active Moist! It's so nice. Doesn't leave me feeling greasy and doesn't break me out. Being an oily girl I used to HATE moisturizing because I could never find one that would sink into my skin well and not make me feel heavy and nasty. It goes so well under foundations too!

I'm going to the event on Sunday, so I may pick up a little something then. I normally go to my downtown location but they're renovating again and their temporary space in the mall is very cramped - so I'm going to a larger location with hopefully less of a crowd because it isn't centrally located.
