Pillowtalk!!! I apologize for the seriously bad lighting. Decided against the others. I wanted RR but last week bought Paramount & Viva Glam 3 & I'm looking to add more berries so I'm off to buy D for Danger instead of Heaux II . I'm officially hooked on mattes!

RR is beautiful, for a brown. When I tried it on, it looked like my actual skin tone on my lips[/quote] Errr, no thanks then. I love tones similar to my skin but there has to be an edge somewhere. VGR2 is frost and Stone is matte and greyish. Is that the one you said looked like you put concealer on your lips?! I'd have to try it first :shock:

It reminds me of concealer. If RR was darker, I could've seen myself reaching for this lipstick quite a bit. If it was a matte, different story altogether. Otherwise, a decent liner will change the look of it completely

That's weird it's showing up 7 colors in the nordstroms search "Mac lipstick" but when I click on the viva glams it only shows the option of 6. You know, they had Rihanna viva glam 2 on there yesterday morning but it disappeared from the site shortly after when I had decided to buy it. Maybe it's a mistake? I hope they don't cancel my order :/

You're physically hurting me spending full price on it. Then again I got Proenza Schouler Mangrove from Nordstrom a couple months ago on a random restock and saw it at the CCO a couple weeks ago...and that was a premium MAC $ I had spent. I was pissed but had to move on :lol: You have a chance with the RVG1...Nordies does it a lot.

why isn't mac producing more satins?

I quite like them! Never tried them until this year with Cardinal and Hollywood Cerise from Philip Treacy. Wait no, it was Boca and Petite Red from Julia Petit that were first. So I have 4! I love that they aren't super drying and not shiny. Best of both worlds.

FairPlay is a amplified finish. I love that color it's one my favorite lipstick colors. It's the perfect nude/brown.

I have a very yellow/golden undertone and right now I'm NC 40 in studio fix foundation plus. There's just something in the color that's not agreeing with my skintone. It's just not flattering, dullish, grey(?)ish and a little dark. It's not the typical brown, but it's not in the taupe territory either. I'm sure it's just my specific shade. Hopefully it looks more flattering on other skintone!

yes it's really pretty! that's weird since on the swedish MAC site it says that it is amplified creme.. so confused

should you go after the box or what it says on the bottom of the lipstick?

I fell in love with this one too (NC15). There's enough rose in it for me, love with full coverage foundation to make a statement lip. Great for late summer and fall.

Mine comes tomorrow, I'm pretty fair skinned so I'm hoping it looks good on me too!
