Beautiful swatches, Ernie!! There's definitely a big enough difference between YSL #70 & Blush Nude to warrant both! And Sugar Pink looks really pretty with VR!

Justifiable homicide is not considered murder. So, we aren't killing anyone, just addressing a serious issue. I will forever be lost in the woods chasing wildfires and hot fire fighters, and longing for a hot bath. Yes, if one of the fire fighters fell into the tub with me, even better, provided he has a good tush. And remember since I am cooking, some rhubarb leave tea can be brewed up for any yucks. It leaves no trace and poof problem solved. Perks of having a brother who is a botanist. Visine is also handy to have if you just want to make them really ill. Best one is when I sent brother a pic of where I pitched my tent. He shot back, Loser, you are in a bed poisonious plants. But my makeup was safe, double bag that. Yes, applying blush by the fire, gives a lovely look.....

Days of our Makeup or Adventures in Makeup. When I was in college I had my classes work around when Days was on. So did my brother....

My last shift in BFI and then I am outta here. Gee, can you imagine if we all were on Dr. Phil???? He can deal with our makeup addiction and at least my food is over rated when it comes to make up vs. food. Not really, I do eat, just lots of noodles with olive oil. It also helps that I cook for others, so a little taste here and there. A good cook always has to taste what they are preparing.

I use Ivory but Meddy uses something much better. I have no problems with shedding ever, with any of my brushes. I know at the TF counters they use one of his shower gels. Don't remember which one, sorry.

@Monsy No, I haven't. OK, will try. I use solid or coconut shampoo, but i heard it's getting the base wet that loosens the glue or whatever that causes shedding. that's why i'm curious to see what other folks are doing. thanks again.

Any suggestions please on washing these TF brushes? I always seem to end up with shedding! Thanks
OMG---I would return those brushes. I have had mine for quite some time and never experience shedding. I use baby shampoo and I wash them frequently. That should not be happening!!!!!

I use Dr Bronner's for some of my brushes but for others it seems too harsh. Baby shampoo is my favorite soap to use---it's gentle and does a good job. I wash my brushes after each use.

I use baby shampoo for all my brushes, never had an issue with shedding. Just wet the hair under running water or use a cup with clean water, don't wet the brushes past the ferrule. Lather the soap on you hand and gently wipe the hair back in forth until you get the product out. Most of his brushes that use natural hair is Saikoho goat hair, very soft, and sturdy. When you rinse, again, only rinse the hair to get the soap out. Squeeze off as much of the water as you can and then either hang them upside down to dry so that water doesn't go into the bast of the brush where the glue holds the ferrule to the handle, or lay it flat dry. You can get paper towels and wrap the heads so that they dry in shape or use a brush guard. I prefer to lay down the bronzer brush because its pretty heavy.

Hope that helps.

P.S. If they do shed alot, I would take them back to the TF counter. Shedding is common if you buy a new brush, a few hairs here and there that weren't combed out during the making, but if it continually sheds and you've had the brush for quite some time, that is not normal.

Hmm. See I start thinking the other day that Dr. Bronner's is sometimes too harsh. Last time I washed I actually used the Beauty Blender bar that came with the pro pack of Beauty Blenders I picked up at IMATS and that works pretty well. I'm going to look into some Johnson's & Johnson's baby shampoo though lol.
