The compact is a definite no go for me though. $180??? Unless Beyonce personally delivers this compact to me, I'm not buying it.

So the chic profile link a few pages back has the release date as November 1st. Do we have confirmation on if it's October or November?

My Nordstrom doesn't have a Guerlain counter. And I'm still upset Sephora pulled the Guerlain counters and made it online only.

Girl, they closed Saks last year and put a Trader Joe's in there! I mean, I like Trader Joe's and all, but still.

The only high-end department stores we have now are Nordstrom and Neiman Marcus. And don't get me started on the SA's at the Neiman Marcus here- awful customer service. Every single time I go, I end up leaving with nothing and placing an online order instead. I refuse to buy in store with crappy customer service.
Now Nordstrom on the other hand- I've NEVER ever had a problem in the 10+ years I've shopped there. Even with returns, they never even ask me why I'm returning. They do the return, then ask if they can help me find something else. That store has A+ customer service.

Most times because of lurkers, when something comes into stock & its posted here...no one gets anything. By the time any of us see it - its GONE!!! Happens ALL the time.

I don't think I will buy that one, it is too expensive. I don't mind spending lots of money on items (just bought a fountain pen for 420€), but I don't spend that much on makeup

You know, that really makes me mad. Don't abuse this site. Even if you can't post a lot, that's ok. But say thank you if people post info/photos/swatches of things you're interested in. It's not that time consuming to type a simple 'thanks'

It happens ALL the time & they don't care. Someone in the Sephora thread was kind enough to personally give me a code to use but unfortunately they posted it in the thread & someone stole it immediately & I did not get to use it. If they post a MAC rare item in stock - gone! And those that are members here lose out.

I've always wanted one of the voyage compacts...I may get this one. I figure can always refill it with the regular powder so if I ever finish this one (yeah, right) it still has a use. See, one can talk themselves into anything...

Oh wow. see our Nordstrom here is the exact opposite, the service is terrible. But the Saks SA's are heaven sent, they even tracked down last year's Perles D'etoiles in like February for me lol. If you end up calling the Guerlain counter here and ask for Phyllis, she's super sweet and helpful.
