Chanel Rouge Noir Absolument - Holiday 2015

I have the cc cream and love it! I'm a Chanel B10 or B12 and Guerlain 12. The lightest shade Chanel makes in the cc cream is 20, so I got that. It is a bit dark for me, but I made it work.

When I got it, I was surprised at how small the tube looked for $55. But a little goes a long way. I've used mine all summer and still have plenty left. It's quite moisturizing on me (combination skin) and gives light-medium coverage the more you use. It is nothing like the Les Beiges Fluid which I found very thin and best mixed with foundation. Hope this helps.

I use NARS tinted moisturizer and/or Les Beiges all-in-one as a base, and since I'm almost out of my NARS, I thought I'd try something new...maybe I'll add it to my haul of the century and have a very Chanel Christmas (in October...I threw up a little in my mouth saying that...the Christmas in October part, not the Chanel awesomeness part).

Me too as far as the cream blushes...I managed to find all of them but Inspiration and Fantastic. If anyone is by a counter and finds either of those, PLEASE PLEASE PM...especially inspiration! I am desperate for that one (unwilling to pay Izzy's yet, though).


Rosewood is AMAZING. That is my go-to blush right now..still..I need to get Alezane, though..I keep talking myself out of it.

The angels sing every time I take Alezane out of my blush drawer---she is just so special!!!

For me it's Rouge Noir and possibly the JC....boy it looks pretty in the swatch but may have to see it in person as I just got the illuminator. This JC seems a lot more sparkly so it may be great for the holidays and the illuminator for everyday.

I went to the mall with my mom who is 77 last weekend and I am 44. Note: i do look young, but I did my makeup up nice and used the illuminator under my eyes and to highlight my cheeks with my new golden sun blush. The SA at Nordstrom said to my mom...."Are you out shopping with your granddaughter?"

So either I just had a better than normal looking day or the illuminator is my new miracle product!

I'd really like to know too, if anyone has any thoughts on this.

If you have oily lids it will smudge and only wear for a couple hours. I usually wear the khol on my lower lash and layer a shadow over it and it last pretty long that way. I have oily lids so I don't put the khol on my lids.
