Finally found the holiday collection at the Saks on Michigan avenue in Chicago. The only thing they didn't have yet was the quad. I skipped the IDO, pulled too brown for my taste & tons of shimmer. But it was really pretty! Also skipped the darker gloss, it was really sheer but did look pretty layered over rouge noir lipstick. Here's a really bad pic I took quickly.

Same size packaging, so is this less dense b/c it's more of a highlighter vs a blush?

I would think so :sigh: .... As long as the product last a while..... Right?

I posted it to the Lancôme thread but the burgundy cream eyeshadow seems similar to Rouge Noir IDO but perhaps more purple ? Has anyone ever tried the cream eyeshadows from Lancôme ? I wonder how they compare to IDO formula !

I tried the Lancome one. It is definitely purple.

I picked up the Illusion d'Ombre and Rose Fusion. I really want the quad too but I can't find it anywhere!

I'm so confused about the quad and why it's seeming like a mystery item! Lol maybe there was a problem with production. I want the dark gloss too but I passed bc the swatches look sheer. I don't mind a sheer tint of color gloss but not when it comes to burgundy, I like dark colors full on

Right? The SAs at Saks were baffled too, they had no clue why the quad was delayed or when they would receive it. Yeah, the burgundy gloss looks great in the tube but it was super sheer when I swatched it. I layered it over rouge noir & it just made it look glossy, which was really pretty, but not for me.

I didn't like how sheer the gloss looks either. I was expecting more of the base gloss to come through with the glitter.

Light colors as sheer glosses I think look lovely but when it's a dark color that's sheer I feel like it has more of a tendency to go patchy. It's still a gorgeous gloss I just know I wouldn't use it enough

Rose Fusion, I love it, slight duo chrome, pretty, I could wear this a lot.
