We've all been expecting this and it's been like that for years, as @MacGuy warned way back. The Archies lipsticks were $16.50 when the regular lipsticks were still $15. It just makes more sense for me to be more selective with what to get. No more dupes for colors I have tons of. Only special colors and sure flattering ones for me.

I'm thinking SoG. OD might be too frosty on my NC45 skin.

Does any know of someone who swatched SoG on NC45ish skin? I'm debating it because I have a feeling it may blend in too much to highlight well...any thoughts?

Looking at the box in Temptalia's pictures, it says they are 1.85g. As always, MAC lies to get more sales.

MAC rising their prices should not come as a surprise to anyone, as they usually rise their prices in November/December. I'll expect them to do it in Germany at the beginning of November when the Holiday collection releases over here. Still, that doesn't make it better. I wonder when they will stop. If they'll ever stop at all.

Anyway - I think I'll stick to lip products this time. Probably Evening Rendevousz and the Pink and Nude Lipbag (at least one of them, depending on the prices). I'm bummed that there are no Extra Dimension products this year. I love them!

I agree I have enough colors I regret buying I am trying to stick with what I know works for me and I will wear.  And the prices do make you think twice about how much money you're wasting.

Wow. They really shouldn't be allowed to do that. Surely that is against FTC regulations, right?

I'm still unhappy about faux Heaux. I totally wouldn't have bought it had I known that it was an Amplified and not a Cremesheen lipstick.

I know that some companies (MUG has talked about it) market their pigments as having less than what is in them because they have to show what the jars are rated for. So with their pigments for instance you actually get quite a bit more product than it says on the site. That kinda makes sense for loose pigments or glitters though.

I'm concerned about that too. I'm also going to get one lipstick for the pretty purple packaging and call it a day. I've bought too many highlighters lately anyway.
