I think that's a good idea. I would deeply regret if I didn't purchase Shaft of Gold only to wish I would have grabbed it later on. Like you said, you can always return something if you no longer want it. Plus, the latest swatch of it posted in this thread made me want it again, lol. So my list is back to Evening Rendezvous, Oh Darling, and Shaft of Gold.

I've been checking every hour since 4 this morning and I'm tired too so I know how you feel. I personally wish they would just give us a specific time rather than having to check the site all day. I understand that that may mean that web traffic may increase if everyone came on the site at the same time but at least we wouldn't feel like we had to be glued to my computer, tablet, or phone screen all day trying to see when it's going to launch.
I agree. @BrittLuvsMakeup That sounds like a great plan. You certainly don't want to pay some shark $69 for it on EBay because you can no longer get it. Lol

If I'm not mistaken, this thread should only be viewable to those who long in...bit I could be wrong :( but as a whole, it would be nice if specktra was private. It would have its pros and cons though :( I know a lot of ladies do pm each other for new le releases. All don't adhere to it, but it would be nice
Yeah at crunch time if I see ppl asking for links I message them and don't broadcast them in here just to make the lurkers do their own work. But like you said some ppl don't or don't realize what happens when they do it...or don't care! Lol.

Exactly. I hate it when people buy up limited edition products solely to sell them on eBay for jacked up prices, especially when some people can't even obtain one of the product and then feel the need to resort to paying these exorbitant prices.

I've purchased from quite a few brands that have stated a specific time of when products were going to be released and I've personally never had an issue obtaining all of the items that I wanted, so for me, I prefer an announced time. But like you said, this was for less popular brands, however, I still think that if a reasonable amount of each product is available and the server can handle the traffic, MAC could do the same. And I'll definitely be hitting the bed as soon as my order goes through, lol.

Believe it or not some people will do that here on Specktra in the clearance bin. I've seen folks try to sell a $15 or $17 lipstick for $50 or $75. Sometimes it may even have been used. Go figure.

I tend to stay away after seeing prices like that, and when someone says it has been used. Why should I fork £25+ on an LE item that you have used???? And the eBay sellers are just as bad. Touch wood that the seller I go to doesn't pull that sort of

The colourdrenched pigments are gorgeous but I'm having a hard time wanting to pay $22 for them. I think so many brands these days sell high quality eyeshadows for less than half of the price MAC is asking sometimes, so it's difficult to justify paying so much for a single shadow unless it comes in a big pan.
