Evening Rendezvous looks more purple here in this swatch. Strange. I guess a lot simply depends on your skin tone.

I'm thinking the same. It seems like it swatches differently depending on the wearer. I guess we won't know what it will look like until we try it on ourselves, lol!

It looks straight up purple in some swatches and a deeper, red wine color on others. I guess the pigmentation of people's lips and skintone are going to draw out certain hues in the color.

I really like ER again in this pic but it's so different in every pic I've seen so far. To buy or not to buy.. that is the question.

Lucky for you it has not sold out. You can take your time to decide.

I'm not in the US though But I do have time to decide, it hasn't been released here yet. Should be somewhere next week. But still a hard decision lol!

I'm sorry to hear that you were told that you couldn't preorder those two items after you were allowed to preorder them in the first place. I know you probably would have been highly upset if you hadn't placed your order at MAC and just relied solely on Macy's to obtain the items you wanted, even if she allowed you to do a send-sale. Had I not ordered everything from my preorder online from any site that sold the collection in hopes to be able to get my hands on the items on Thursday, I would have been more upset, but since I did order from MAC, it didn't bother me too much except that I have to go in on a date that I mostly likely wouldn't have intended to (I don't frequent this particular mall unless I need to go to specific stores because I have a closer mall, but it doesn't have a Nordstrom). I'm glad you're getting your stuff too! Situations like these are why I always to go the online route first before dealing with B&M.

She was shopping around and I kept telling her to hurry up because these things sell out and so said, so done. The thing is there is a $65 minimum on the Canadian site for free shipping so she wanted to make her order worthwhile because $8.50 shipping is no joke. It wasn't until after that I was given a free shipping code to use on the Canadian website. I may try to call and get it for her on Thursday.

She was shopping around and I kept telling her to hurry up because these things sell out and so said, so done. The thing is there is a $65 minimum on the Canadian site for free shipping so she wanted to make her order worthwhile because $8.50 shipping is no joke. It wasn't until after that I was given a free shipping code to use on the Canadian website. I may try to call and get it for her on Thursday.

It sucks that you have to spend a minimum of $65 or pay $8.50 for shipping on the Canadian site. I think it would be great if you can try to call and get OD through the send-sale if that's the easiest and most convenient way for you to get it. Hopefully the girl from Macy's can do that for you with no problems since she attempted to help you before with the preorder.

After applying Evening Rendezvous on my lips, I find that it pulls more purple. It's harder to see the red. Either way, I think it's a very nice shade!

YASSSSSS! Now that's the ER I want!! Oh I have PH too, interesting, I didn't think they were in the same family. ER looks nicer though.

Edit: Wow and look at how your swatches show how Acai and Rebel are basically the same except for the finish!
