I've got quite a few loose pigments (ie. Melon, Vanilla, Lithe and loads of Barry M pigments etc) and I mainly use them for eyes and lips, I've never used a proper highlighter before. Think FU made very good practice on the highlight front for me. I am drawn to both SoG and OD... I hate being indecisive when it comes to things like this

Okay so since you're still dabbling on the highlighter front, go with SoG. It's gorgeous and not over the top. Plus the yellow in FU you can always use for the gold highlight if you want it.

. Everyone has just smashed this collection, now I've got to make a choice... OD or SoG????? And I can't afford to get both
If you can only get one, Marsha, I'd say go with Shaft of Gold. You'll probably be able to grab one in the clearance bin if you decide you need it later.

Thanks for the advice, K. I'll give SoG a chance, plus I have a feeling it'll look blinding on my skin tone. Come to think of it, it wouldn't surprise me if Melon miked with something else would make a OD dupe

It will look beautiful on your skin tone. OD is a gold, blended out they all look alike tbh...but it's sure fun to collect them

Edit: Just thinking, if the EDSF formula reminds me of BB Bronze Glow, I'm hoping SoG isn't too much like it.
I love your photos, and I'm tripping on how lavender ER is on you.
when the EDSF first came out they came out with the split fiber brushes. the 128 is still one of my faves to use. They have a big Kabuki buffer like brush too at that time, that one of our other members LOVED using with them. So, I say all of this to say, you probably have to do more blending buffing with these than other highlighters.

ER is unique but I still brought other lipsticks with me to swatch with it. I also took a pic of my highlighters near the window with OD. I'll put that up later. Rushing to work!
I love everything. Your foundation, OD, the blush, the lipstick, the eyeshadow, the liner. Wait, are you wearing e/s? Hell even the top! LOVE IT! I need a look breakdown.

Thanks a lot! I can honestly say I stepped up my game since joining Specktra in March, lol. I had gotten lazy at one point. Especially after having my daughter who is about to be 3.

Get it! Why not?

I joined in January of last year, didn't have a clue about contouring. I hated blush and had to get someone else to do my wings. 18+ months later, my go to blush is Peachtwist, lustres are either my best friend or my worst enemy and I somehow own a lot of red lipsticks. My makeup skills have improved (I think) and learnt some new things along the way. Still got a long way to go

OK good news for me- I don't own anything like this lipstick! Bad news for wallets- I don't own anything like this! I'm wearing the l/s now and it brightens up my lips, but it's not a bright. It has a little edge of dustiness to it. It is most similar (in my collection) to Colour Pop Sweet-Thing, but it's not a dupe. Goodbye Kiss is cooler toned and less neutral. It is more raspberry pink than Sweet-Thing and also way pinker than Mehr, HA, less red toned than Yield to Love, and just totally different than Ultra Darling. IDK why I even put that one in there.

I compared the liner to Rosy Rim. The only other pink liner I own is MAC Magenta. I'm not a huge pink lip wearer.

Hope this helps a bit!
If help means, I now must get it. You've done great! LOL
