New foundations, possibly?

Ok here's the scoop. The scents are different but are extremely similar. The newer one smells sweeter to me but just by a hair. The new shimmer appears to be more of a champagne vs the gold shimmer last year and the new shimmer is not as fine as last years. The formula does seem different as well as someone else has mentioned here. This years formula seems to be a little less oily than last years... If that makes any sense lol (more watery I guess you can say). Anyways this is just what I observed you guys may end up liking it so if you can check it out at a counter. I will probably keep mine since I enjoy these in general but I do prefer the one from last year. Hope this helps!

I have been playing with my honeymoon quad for several days. If I only use the shades in the quad, then the resulting look is far "too intense" for my pale self. At least for daytime. It looks great when I add other shades into the mix.
Thanks for posting this. I didn't buy it because I was afraid of this.
BTW, I place a big Colourpop order & included your suggestions
even the disco dust is very intense on it's own and is lacking lighter shade in the quad. lightest shade is almost clear with silver glitter. what a waste of space in the palette. i will try to wear it again tomorrow and to take some photos. i managed to soften the look a bit but also i think it will look better with some other shades (not tf necessarily) to make it more wearable
yes!! Most of his quads lack a grounding shade.that is my main complaint - if i pay so much for the quad i do not want to have to add extra products or to struggle to make it work. i have had the same issue with nude dip

as for the shimmer shades (though not ideal), they work exceptionally well when patted on with finger tips than using a brush!
Would love a review of both if you've had a bit of time to play with them!I got all the quads and the shade/highlighter today. I skipped the new Lip Shine, makes me look dead. As in a dupe for the Armani Runway collection that had the lipstick that was like ecru. Starry Night and Lilac are my fav. The new summer fragrance is beyond words. Got that too. Ramen noodles for the next two weeks, but I will be pretty.

The runway shade and illuminate is just ok. The shine is no Bueno on its own, but I have been mixing it and like the results.
I absolutely love the new fragrance and the body oil.
I was told that there will be a new version of Neroli Portifino in March that will have much more staying power than the current version. I don't know if this will be a completely new fragrance or replace the current one.

I am sorry you have been disappointed with your HM quad! I'm pretty pale (MAC F&B N1, NARS Terre Neuve, NARS Mont Blanc, MUFE 115), and I actually find that I can do a lovely look that isn't too intense...haha, at least I don't think it is...who knows? Maybe my co-workers think I'm moonlighting as a lady of the evening!
I use a 239 brush to lightly apply the top right shade all over my lid. Then, I use the other side of the 239 and lightly pat and blend the bottom left shade on the outer 1/3 to 1/2 of my lid. I super lightly dip a WG #19 (similar to 217) in the bottom right shade and blend that around my crease and a smidge on the outer-v. Finally I use an old Chanel blending brush (brass ferrule) to apply the top left shade in the inner corners and blend up a little onto the lid and lightly blend/sweep it under my brow. I can definitely work this up into an intense look (first time or two I used it, I may have gone a little nuts), but with how I'm wearing it, I think it's a slightly deep and warm neutral work-friendly look. This is all dry....I am almost scared at what it will look like used damp.
I hope you can make it work for you/integrate some other colors to tone it down. Do you think it would play nicely with Nude Dip? I'm strongly considering that one given how much I am enjoying this formula.
Guys, I just came in here to say that I cannot wait for the cream shadows. I just got into TF late last year, and so none of the cream shadows I wanted was available since they used to be limited edition... I feel like my prayers have been answered now that Spring 2016 comes with permanent cream shadows.
In other news, I got Honeymoon, Lavender Lust, and Disco Dust. Will post swatches and maybe some eye looks once I've played with them more! I'm sick right now so I am trying not to touch any of my makeup for fear of getting germs on them... Which might just be totally paranoid of me. Do any of you that, too?
