And these troll dolls were invented in 1959. I had some then, altho i no longer have those from 47 years ago.

Yep, my 3 sisters & yours truly all had them in different color hair. We loved them.
So, I guess I will have to get something.

Man oh man I am going to do some damage with this one. I still have an embarassingly large troll collection from when I was a kid LOL. So excited!!!

I thought this collection was about internet trolls and was like wtf?! but it's about the dolls which also left me like wtf?! ok cool, lol!
My mom got me pink haired troll slippers, nightgown, and dolls against my will when I was a kid, lol. She even gave me a neon green haired troll keychain when I was a teenager, but I gave it some doll clothes and kept it as a decorative figurine but by then I warmed up to their ugly-cuteness.
My list will be small because of the repromotes, but for starters I'm so glad that Play it Proper is getting repromoted. Midnight Troll, Twerkquoise (what a stupid name for a pretty color lmao), and Play it Proper are my list. I already have Sushi Kiss and I have dupes for the eye shadows even though Paradisco looked really nice on the Buzzfeed article (it helped that one of those swatches had the exact weird murky eye color that I have, so thanks Buzz feed).

I love these trolls. It was always fun to find them in xmas stockings. I'm getting the yellow lipstick and yellow eyeshadow + paradisco. Maybe the compact.

I had a few when I was a kid that belonged to my mom and aunts when they were kids in the 60s that got passed on to me in the late 80s/early 90s that I then gave to my sister when I out grew them. I'm now curious as to whatever happened to them.

I didn't realize that Pacifico and Atlantic Blue were perm, I'll definitely save the $ and just buy them in pan form for $6!
I do wish there were blushes in this collection and that the lipsticks had that holographic stuff like the lipglasses but all in all this is a super fun collection! I think I've whittled my list down to Pants Off Dance Off Lipstick, Glitter Grunge Lipglasss, Play It Proper BP, and possibly Silly Vanilly Eyeshadow pending swatches.
When I think of trolls I immediately think of the 90s (which was apparently a reboot) since that's when I was born, but I think it's cool that these spanned through different years too so lots of people can get nostalgia from them. I actually never collected them (they creeped me out as a kid lol) but whenever I see them I still get happy remembering being younger and seeing them all over my friend's houses!

I have quite a few Trolls, old and up to the 90s, and not one has ever had a gemstone in its belly.

Interesting. All of mine (except the super tiny ones) had the gemstones. Usually a star, heart, or diamond that matched their hair color.
