I got my lone Vee lipstick today. While I really love the orange red shade, I feel that the quality has really been lacking with the Mac products lately. Its creamy, but it kept wearing away in the center & outer edges of my lips & I never ever have those issues.

Vermillion vee tured out to be SO ORANGE on me. Thank god i picked up cloud gait to sort save it from looking like a mess on me. I do agree with elegant. Quality is totally lacking on these. What a shame

Yikes! Hate to hear that, but it does make me glad I passed and opted for Tatcha Kyoto Red instead. Thankfully, I find the quality of PP great. Sorry not such an awesome lippie. I bet it still looks beautiful on both of you...orange or not!

tbh I think it's a little too pale for my skin tone. I was hoping it would've been a tinge darker ������

I'd line it lightly with Nightmoth.

The Tatcha is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better. Well, it starts out looking ok lol. I'm glad the PP quality is good for you.

I wore VV today and was really happy with it actually! Not orange on me, but it is a warmer red IMO... like coral leaning almost. I got good wear from it. I'm glad I got it.

I am actually disappointed with my items. I ordered VV its way too orange and too soft for a matte lipstick. I got the translucent powder for the packaging but it looks cheap and like a knockoff to me. Sadly they will both be going back.

It does not seem to evenly coat in color. I had to apply 2 coats. I did line my lips with Redd and used P&P lip, but the jury is still out.

@Elegant, I have not worn my Tatcha yet, as last weeks date night was postponed, due to "cranky man syndrome." *eyeroll* But I am hoping this weekend.

Echoing some sentiments on the packaging. I am a bit disappointed. I honestly wish they had simply used the promo image on box for the actual packaging! It is sharp, crisp, bright & vivid..However, the colors of the product packaging seem a bit "muddy," the imagery is blurred, and it is no where near as bright or vivid. I am going to keep the compact because I do need a pressed powder in my bag and it is nicer than plain black.

Even though I am not partaking of the Vibe Tribe collection, I wonder if the packaging there is going to suffer in quality as well

VV looks beautiful on you! And I agree it looks a bit coral.

VV is way more orange than I thought it'd be and settles into lip lines like crazy! I lined my lips with RRW liner and it still does not seem to be up to par with other matte I have from MAC. Very disappointing.
