Just went to Sephora and got some of the new Bite summer Amuse Bouche lipsticks (Kale and Lavender Jam) and one half-off UD lipstick in Venom. I feel like I am buying to fill the void of this collection not launching! Come on MAC! So impatient hehe.

I can understand why you're considering it!
I cannot imagine having my packages left outside. My shipping company hand deliver them at work or home or I can pick it up there. At Christmas time it's crazy there, though

I went to ulta to do my hair and ended up with 2 lorac highlighters, dior body mist and some nail stuff.

My lippies came from Dillard's - that was fast! (I mean, it better be since they charge an arm and a leg for shipping lol). I stalked last night until I passed out. Gonna have to do the same tonight and Sunday night. *sigh*. The things I do for makeup...

I dont own anything similar to Hot Chocolate so that is on the top of my list. What lip pencil would you ladies recommend to go along with it? Thanks in advance :)

i would highly recommend Morning Coffee by MAC. It's the best! I'll post a swatch side by side.

I think Arrowhead is going to look like powdered donuts on me :( I most definitely will need a liner with that one lol. I think the old Hot Chocolate is slightly browner than the new one.

No prob! :) And I know what you mean...it's super pretty but I know it'll look ashy on me, too lol - gonna try it with a really pink liner lol or a mauve one lol

This is the first MAC Collection I've looked forward to in a long time. It sucks that it isn't launching as promised. :-(

To me the new HC and the old one swatch way too different.
I was thinking of getting it since I missed it the first time around but now that I see it's not exactly like the original looks like I won't get it. The new HC looks like NYX Lala round lipstick. I wonder if someone has that and can compare them.

And the Navajos learned how to make jewelry from Spaniards and Mexicans, so that is a form of cultural appropriation. And the squash blossom was a symbol common to the Pueblo Indians who lived in the southwest long before the Navajo, who speak an Algonquian language - which is found in the northeast of the North American continent - migrated to the Southwest. So the Navajos practiced cultural appropriation as well.

Patterns like those the packages are found in weavings in North Africa and Central Asia.

Borrowing designs like this is not strictly cultural appropriation. And i think calling it such as misunderstanding what cultural appropriation really is.
