Mac Good Luck Trolls (July 28/ Aug 4th)

Not sure what to do - I already have Play it Proper x2 and Glo Rida looks a little warm. Plus, I'm not much into highlighters lately. But I still like the theme of the collection and want one thing just because of the 90s vibe. None of the other products are wearable for me tho.

Play it proper seems like the only item which will look good on me / suit my style. But although I loved Trolls, I'm not into the packaging haha. I'll look too similar to other light pink highlighters I own, so I'm not sure at all.

Karen has posted her reviews yesterday. The Chroma Craze is colored hairspray, like for Halloween. It's a fun item, but a tad too gimmicky for a rather pricey brand like Mac, in my opinion.

Still just Glow Rida for me... I'm not really wowed by it but I like it and the packaging is so cute and hard to resist lol (not to mention the super cute troll embossing in the powder!).

Midnight Troll and Bubble Butt (OMG) look like fun! Not sure Midnight Troll would get much wear tho...I might sit this one out. I with they had some non-makeup items like a themed makeup bag or special edition troll dolls.

Midnight Troll, Twerkquoise, and Play It Proper. Glow-Rida looks very warm and all of the fuchsias look dupable.

Uhh I got some samples in the mail of Glo Rida and Midnight Troll. Gonna have to do a comparison with Gunner. I think the packaging is cuter IRL than I've seen on pictures. The lipsticks feel a bit rubberized and the compact has embedded microshimmer in the plastic.

Man I'm super slow, I blame it on vacation. Here's a ton of pictures and a few comparisons with the items I already had that were the closest. Midnight troll is much bluer and a tad lighter than Gunner, the formula is not as opaque as Gunner. I had to use more swipes to get similar coverage. It is definitely buildable though, and slightly more comfortable on the lips than Gunner.

Glo Rida is like a lowkey version of my favorite highlighter Mary-Lou Manizer from The Balm. Mary-Lou is INTENSE and I've been looking for something that is a tad less crazy for everyday use (Although I do go all in with Mary-Lou at work literally every week...). It is a tad dry in the formula but gives off a really nice subtle sheen. It is on the verge of being too dark for me as a NW10 but sheered out it is perfect.

glow rida looks so pretty in the pan but turns out unflattering yellow when applied. disappointing

Thank you Honi! If I get the chance I will definitely buy Glow Rida. I do love Mary Lou but I often find it a bit too much, a less crazy version is always welcome hehe.

Btw I LOVE that lipstick packaging, too bad I don't want any of the lippies lol!
