I just got TC from the Nordstrom release. A+ for the speedy order confirmation and shipping/delivery and a fat F for the way they packaged this. TC was flying around in that box with no protection. I saw someone on IG post a broken TC. If this would have come in the same condition, I would be sh*t out of luck.

Thank goodness it didn't break. My CLF got delivered from them today, curious to check it out later.

I'll try to go to the Mac store tomorrow and see if I can get AP and two of the eye shadows before my first class. I just hope that the store didn't release the collection a day early like they did with previous highly anticipated collections.

I hate when that happens! I went to the MAC store today to see and they didn't, lol. I wouldn't mind getting MMB but I don't want to line up or get there at 8 am when they open.

I had no idea this collection would be that crazy. For presale I had all 3 lipsticks in my cart, then decided to wait a day to think about it and then it was sold out. Ordered from Nordie's and checked out with all 3 but only Amor didn't get canceled. Now of course I really want DOY but have to work and can't go to the store. Really hoping for a MAC restock. Besides Diva are there any close dupes for it? I have MAC Eugenie which looks kind of similar on Temptalia but more purple.

I got a lot of compliments on Amor Prohibido today and even with it being a glaze it help up great. I compared Amor Prohibido with Boca from Julia Petit (another of my favorites) bc I feel like AP reminds me a lot of Boca. If Boca didn't oxidize to a pink base it would almost be AP. Here's some comparisons, in swatches they look different but on the lips (on me at least) and in the tubes I think they're very similar. I love this type of shade

oh gosh I have all the eyeshadows being shipped from nordstrom. I hope they don't get damaged. I'm already a little anxious because they're "supposed to be" delivered tomorrow, but also there is this.... little... thing called hurricane matthew that is headed right towards me (hi south florida peeps!) so I'm assuming that delivery will get delayed. So I hope it's packed well and not too messed up when I finally get it!

Actually I agree with you both on this.

I feel like even though I have been a Specktra peep for a few years, it has only been in the last year I have been a real, contributing member of the forum! Meaning I am sharing, commenting, posting, having conversations with people, and now liking/thanking for posts (Thank you mods for bringing that back!!! )

The real benefit of this forum is not so much the tips of how & where & when to stalk, but that those of us really participating have a shared love of all things pretty! If you do not contribute, than you really are not getting the true benefits of being here! At least that's how it goes in my makeup obsessed brain!

Online you can get "4" of the same item and instore it's 3... I don't see it going as quick as it did for you guys TBH it would've been out of stock by now I really hope they restock everything on the US disgusts me how they didn't get ALOT of the stock in with her being American!!
