MAC Nutcracker Sweet Holiday Collection (2016)

Lol. Missed it. Lol. This is frustrating me so I'm just gonna laugh at it. I saw yhat it was up on the other sites but since it wasn't up on MAC and I rather up my points for the select program I thought...wait till tomorrow. Well we see how that panned out. Smh I am happy at least that I did a presale of it at my local MAC counter but I will have to wait till next week to get that. It would have been cool to get it before the weekend hit. At least I will get see more swatches of the sweet vision compact and the tut on deeper skin tones since I am still torn on them.
I'm gonna call them my local mac counter to see if they are gonna get the collection before the 27th and just pay it before the date. If I end up loosing this compact, I will be kicking myself for a very long time.

Sweet Vision is still there. Well you can use it as a blush, which is what I plan to do. The website says "[FONT=tstar_mono_roundregular]A translucent ultra-fine, light-catching pearlescent powder for face, neck and décolleté. Its soft and creamy texture feels exceptionally luxurious to the touch yet is extremely lightweight. Formula glides on easily to highlight skin with a delicate glow. The sheer formula complements all skin tones in two universal pink and peach shades. Special packaging features a star-embossed design and the playful fuchsia and burgundy shades of our holiday collection."

Yes, trying to convince my sis she needs it. She's in Canada and Pro so it's $25 Cdn after discount, but then tax (QC) and shipping (Pro always pay shipping) almost makes it not worth it.

Same here, I have to wait, but I'm good. Well not really but I have no choice, lmao! I figured a pre-sale would save me stress but I was up anyway when it launched and could have bought it online. It didn't sell out right away. I swatched The Peach Face Compact and put it up here on Monday. It's on my IG though, Tutu (if that's what you meant and not Tut) is the least of your worries, Dusk is too light for me.

I wasn't expecting it to go live today -MAC hinted nothing about a pre launch for Select members so I figured that Select members would have to take their chances tomorrow with everyone else (what constitutes a selected collection for MAC anyway?). I was actually planning to stalk tomorrow morning to get my Copper face palette.

After reading about how the collection launched everywhere, I decided to rush to Macy's on my lunch hour and bought palette on pre sale. I would have bought more but I didn't have my other credit card with me. I'll try to get another one and other items when it launches in store next week (I'm going to check on Wednesday in case MAC pulls any more shenanigans). Does any one think anything else besides the face palettes will sell out before the beginning of November?

I wish I saw this before I went there just now! LOL! But glad I got to re-swatch the face compacts and the nude lip bag. The girl I spoke to wondered where they were also especially since I told her the Nordies and Bloomies have them on their website. She says sometimes boxes just show up. Like for Selena, the day after the launch the found a box. Whaaat?!

Yeahhhhhh sooo that Peach looks like Ash City. Just Copper for me if I can manage to snag it in a restock. We don't always get the whole holiday collection here so I don't want to risk waiting for it and then have it be one of the kits that never comes.
