Oh that is so disappointing... I had high hopes for this palette. Are most of the shades lustre formula? I wish MAC would do away with that formula and bring out more Veluxe Pearl shades instead.
Yikes! Are you going to keep it or return it?
Also, have you played around with the x15 palette yet?

My Semisweet arrived and I love it! My Armani angled eye brush fits perfectly in the little pans lol. And I ordered a Houkodou "226-like" brush that should also work.
The Carbon went on my lids like buttah with pretty much no fallout. Pigmentation is great on all 9, and I'm talking no primer! Many of these shadows will be great for brows on both warm and cool toned hair.

Yes! These shadows are very buttery! The MA told me the shadows were being reformulated but I don't know if she meant just the palettes or all shadows. Anyhoo, tell me about the 226 like brush. 226 is my favorite and I would like another.

I ordered the Houkodou WS-3 because it reminded me of the elusive 226 lol, I will let you know what I think when it arrives. I missed out on the 226 so I can't say for sure if it's a "dupe". I did receive the Houkodou WS-2 last week and it was so luxuriously soft that I immediately ordered the Houkodou WS-3. These brushes were in my price range $20, but I assure you I have seen 226 dupes by Suqqu and Hakuhodo. I would recommend Sweet Makeup Temptations blog and you can easily find 226 dupes and then order them off cdJapan

I was contemplating other makeup stuffs, not MAC, for Macy's, but have been holding off because that sale goes until March 21st. I tend to wait until the 11th hour for the possibility of a better deal I see the MAC Select code is good until 11:59 March 20th. Choices...choices...
On another note, has anyone else noticed that the MAC Early Buzz 2017 thread is "closed?" I messaged Naynadine as she is a veteran mod and was the last to post.
ETA: Naynadine fixed it with her super powers!
