Is it just me or does the packaging for meteorites look really small? It looks like they are decreasing the amount in the package.

I thought it looked a little small in comparison to her hand but I need to pull out my Météorites to be sure lol I so rarely use them

Definitely tiny! The insert isn't even a poof...just a thin thing that looks like a black cotton pad. Boo, Guerlain!

Actually I've compared the weight of the last several releases and they are all 25 g, except for the two special sphere like containers that were 30 g. So actually they haven't really decreased the size of the containers for a couple of years or so at least. Just sayin'.

They look puny! I really want them still though haha. I need to reach for my meteorites more. I have been horribly neglecting them. I love the look of the shimmer powder as well.

I have 5 of them. These are all 25 g. Perles D'Etoile (on the left) was from Holiday 2014. So this is nothing new.

I'm curious to know the dimensions/size of the container. Even if the container holds 25g of balls, I wonder if the containers themselves are getting smaller?

That's more of what I was getting at. It physically looks way smaller, and there's not room for a poofy poof. Maybe to help have fewer broken balls going to dust??

I got a black sponge with one recently.
Years ago I emailed them to ask if they sold puffs separately lol

They're actually bigger than the old ones. I compared the newest one to the old old style 33 g one and it's definitely bigger. But the inside of the container is smaller, the pearls used to go all the way down to the bottom, hence the big puff. I think it must be to prevent broken balls.

ok i do not know if this is a joke or what ??? who talked about container size? who cares if container is slightly smaller? I am talking about the amount of product which went down and prices went up. and since you made me go dig trough my collection i just checked and two of the previous releases are both 30g , not 25.

plus since they reformulated me couple of years ago ballz itself are much softer and more fragile. every time i buy them there is TONS of powder and crushed ballz on the bottom,which was not the case before.
and yes i still buy them because i love to use and collect them.

Why are you so angry, lol? Nobody made you do anything. Those two were the special spherical containers. And if you look at the comments above, you will see that people have talked about the container being smaller. If the price shrinks also, then I won't mind that much. There's no way I'll ever finish the balls i have!
