About Jeffree Star, that's surprising. I've stumbled upon some of his reviews on Dior / Chanel, and I liked them. I'm stumped as to how he's going to help make the shade range more inclusive though. Oh well. As I've said in the CHanel thread, this social media models aren't for me, none of them.
The legitimate child of summer collection of 2012 (Croisette) and 2014 (Transatlantique). I'm not against this, they were some of my favourite collections. It feels much more difficult to work with, but after the chanel spring collection, I think this loudness is perhaps in trend even for these brands. I like loudness, but not at so many places all at once.
The nude compacts look nice. If the orange / pink is strong, they may double as blushes. The pink one looks so nice
, but I bet it won't come here.
The eyeshadows are very pretty, the brown one looks interesting the most (I see shimmer in the bottom ones). I like the Transatlantique version better, but I didn't get it at the time. There is a similar palette in the permanent collection that I was on the fence for, so I'll be able to check both to decide.
The turquoise one looks flat and there's a similar one in the permanent collection as well, but I'll have to check because sometimes these pictures are very deceiving.
About the nail colours, 404 Splash must be close to 403 Saint Tropez (one of my favourite colours ever), 894 Blop looks close in tone to 800 Now from last year (though it's very far away in numbers). 541 Wizz must be more coral than red (reds are usually on the +700 numbers), 431 Pow must be an orange (448 Sunnies is a close number).
