I'm completely new to mac and I have some questions. Pardon my ignorance. So, is mac normally a night look? I just bought two eye shadows, one in "idol eyes" and another in "seedy pearl" They just seem to plain compared to the looks here. I am not sure what kind of look I'm going after...

I have recently been interested in mac and just made a 70 dollar purchase there today! ack! I hope to get some good tips from this forum.
