Hi girls and guys

To celebrate my revamped make-up kit, filled with sexy mac goodness (*le sigh*) i decided to post my first FOTD. I've learnt so much about application from Spektra, but im still a long way away from being as talented as everyone else!

I tend to underdo my make-up and stick to neutrals because I don't really know what I'm doing yet! So any constructive criticism and advice would be most appreciated!

Thanks for looking, here is what i used (all MAC unless noted otherwise):

Face: Studio Fix fluid NW25
Blot Powder Medium Dark to set
Northern Lights MSF

Eyes:Woodwinked on lid
Twinks on outer corner and in crease
Teddy to line
Max Factor Masterpiece Mascara

Lips: Young spark lipgloss

How are you liking Woodwinked? I'm paler than you are, but I've been told that I would look good with that color, so I'm curious.

Thanks everyone! Im hoping to try some more adventurous looks in the future!

I was looking for a gold shade and the SA recommended Woodwinked for blue eyes. I fell in love with it, it has the most gorgeous sheen to it! Im not too great at combining colours and shading, so i thought it would be a great colour to add dimension to my eyes without having to do too much work. A lot of reviewers hate it because it can look very orangey on some skin tones, it might be a problem for people with more olive tones though? I love the colour, its definitely worth a try!

woodwinked is a gorgeous eyeshadow, it was my first e/s from MAC....^^
i'm quite pale and freckled and I think it suits me... in fact it looks very similar on me

--- I also tend to underdo my makeup... I guess we need more practice and confidence!
