Well I was looking through a Zipper's 2005 Beauty Magazine and there was this look that I wanted to try. Of course I couldn't do it exactly since I looked nothing like the model except that we're both Asian.
NOTE: Someone pointed this out that my skin looked really orange in these pics! It's just the lighting, I promise, it was at night so I had to use the orange tinted artificial lights in my bedroom, and flash didn't help much.
So here is the original. I wish I had gorgeous porcelain skin like her, but I had to deal with my own ruddy skin. Also, the lips are a little inaccurate too since I had no idea how to get the red and the neutral color like it is in the pic.
Used:
Physician's Formula Mineral Wear Talc-Free Mineral Face Powder in Bronzer
Magrittes Paint
Electric Eel and Milani Atlantis
Frost pigment (never used it before, but it's gorgeous!)
Some foundation on my lips and Underage Lipglass
I am forever trying to tone my lips down to balance the look-I know you can see my natural lip line in the pics-try to pretend I did a good job, lol. Anyone want to recommend a lipstick or something that would tone them down and look natural/good?
Thanks guys for reading!
